In this report, “Side Launch Brewing Company Continuing Case” is discussed by
describing situational analysis, SWOT analysis, problem and alternative advantages and
disadvantages.
Situation Analysis
There are various external factors which affects the functioning of Side Launch Brewing
Company it is because of more tax rate that is 15% which reduce the profitability of the
company. The more interest rate that is 16% also becomes the challenge for the company to
increase their revenue and to conduct operations in Canada (Hagemann, Bogner, Marchioni, &
Braun, 2016). Further, changes in the preferences and opinions of the customers is also increase
the cost of the company, it is because the estimation describes that taste and habits of the
consumers frequently changes in Canada.
The technology used by the competitors also reduce the profits of the organization
because of providing quality products to the customers, this is also become major challenge for
the company. The policies developed by the Canadian government that is The Environmental
Protection Act to protect the environment, this also impact Company in negative manner because
of increasing the activities of the companies to perform activities according to the policies
developed by the government (Thornley, 2017). The other laws of conducting the operations also
disturb the overall functioning of Side Launch Brewing Company to gain competitive advantage.
SWOT Analysis
The strengths of Side Launch Brewing Company is to use own innovative ideas to create
beer and have the ability to adjust the beer with the traditional values. The company also has
more transparent and good relationship with the customers because of providing the facility to

incident, less financial support however, it is also the small company through which it become
major threat for the company.
Problem Analysis
The problem describes that company believe that expectation of the consumers is
increasing and they want differentiation in the craft beer, but it become challenge for the
company to make variations in every beer of the company. It is because through this company
face from both aspects which includes it become opportunity and threats for the company
(Thornley, 2017).
Alternative Pros and Cons
The advantages for Side Launch Brewing Company are that it solves the problems of the
consumers by hearing their issues (Berning & McCullough, 2017). The company opportunity
also increases by raising the marketing of the beer so that company reputation will be increased.
The cons for the company the relationship of the company with their existing customers
