1. Introduction
The procedure of scrutinizing a human signature can be defined as the signature
analysis (Wang et al. 2019). Signature analysis is very much beneficial for investigating
officers or the graphologists of our society to understand the personality of a person involved
in a crime scene (Punetha, Pal and Kushwaha 2019). This reflective essay shall be focussing
on the methods used by the experts in the signature analysis procedure.
2. Explanation of the methods
In my opinion, the ways of conduction of our life can be identified with the help of
signature analysis. I believe that the pressure, continuity layout, shape, dimension, and slant
speed are the graphical aspects that are considered by the experts while analyzing a signature
in an investigative case. The maturity and evolution of our personality can be maintained
with the help of signature analysis (Zois, Theodorakopoulos and Economou 2017). Signature
analysis is very much significant to understand the humility and creativity of the criminals or
any person involved in a crime scene (Diaz et al. 2019). The aggressiveness of the person
involved in the serial killings can also be understood using this procedure.
3. Critical evaluation of the method
On the other hand, there are other ways of evaluating any signature in terms of the
way of capitalizing the first name and the last name. I believe that the lack of trust in oneself
can be one of the prime personality traits of someone who uses lowercase in the first and last
name of the signature. Thus, I believe that the state of mind of the criminals can be easily
understood by the forensic experts using signature analysis. The expectation of a person can
also be understood from signature analysis as well (Sanchez-Reillo, Liu-Jimenez and Blanco-
Gonzalo 2018). I also think that the forward-thinking ability of a person can be detected with
the help of signature analysis as well.

4. Conclusion based on personal experience
The experience I have gathered from this module was very much useful for me, as I
understood how signature analysis helps the graphologists to understand the personality traits
of a person who is involved in any sort of criminal activity. I believe that the capacity of
adaptation and characteristics traits of a person can also be understood using signature
analysis.

From this reflective essay, I can conclude that signature analysis is one of the most
significant aspects of digital forensics. I think that the procedure of evaluating ant sort of
handwriting is termed as signature analysis. The personality traits of a character can be
understood using signature analysis which is generally conducted by the graphologists of our
society as per my understanding from this essay. I can also conclude that the way of
conduction of life can be enhanced using signature analysis. Humility and creativity of the
criminals can also be identified with the help of the signature analysis procedure. Personality
traits such as the lack of trust and forward-thinking ability of a person also be determined
with this technique as well. Thus, this essay was very beneficial to understand the methods
considered by the graphologist to analyse any sort of handwriting.
