AI Summary
This report examines the significance of physical health and wellbeing in patients dealing with short-term or long-term health issues. It begins by outlining aims and objectives, including analyzing the impact of poor physical health on patient recovery, assessing health promotion's role, and examining challenges faced by unhealthy patients. The research employs a combination of descriptive and exploratory designs, utilizing a questionnaire system to gather data from 30 doctors. A literature review explores the importance of physical fitness, health promotion strategies, and factors impacting physical health, such as exercise, diet, and lifestyle choices. The report also investigates the relationship between physical health and mortality rates, discussing government initiatives to promote health awareness and improve patient outcomes. The findings are presented with a Gantt chart and supported by references to relevant literature.

TITLE - significance of physical health and well being in patients with short term/long term
health issues
being in patients with short term/long term health issues
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
AIM – To examine the significance of physical health among patients
OBJECTIVES
ď‚· To analyse the impact of poor physical health and
wellbeing in patient recovery
ď‚· To assess the impact of of the use of health promotion to
support patient recovery.
ď‚· To examine consequences or challenges faced by unhealthy patients.
ď‚· To determine ways to improve physical well-being of patients
RATIONAL
Physical fitness is a physiologic state of well-being which helps in allowing an individual
to meet the demands of daily living or that provides the basis for sport performance or both.
Physical fitness related to health involves the elements of fitness related to health status,
including cardiovascular fitness, metabolism, body composition and musculoskeletal fitness. It is
very important for patients to stay physically fit for recovering from a specific disease or illness.
Therefore, it is essential for analysing the significance of physical health or well-being in
patients to identify the challenges and recommendation related to health of patients suffering
from different types of disease.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES
Research design- A research design helps in increasing efficiency of research is making as
possible therefore yielding maximum information with nominal expenditure of effort, money and
time. It contributes in the smooth functioning of each and every research operation (Taylor,
Bogdan and DeVault, 2015.). The present research is a combination of both descriptive and
exploratory research design.
Sampling – A sample is a part or sub-set of the target population, sampling is a procedure of
choosing cases or subjects to be included in the study of the representative of the target

population. In the present research random sampling method will be used to collect appropriate
information related to the topic (Flick, 2015). The data will be collected from 30 doctors
working in different hospitals.
Data collection – There are two types of data collection method used in a research or
investigation, Primary and secondary data collection. In the present report research will use both
primary as well as secondary data collection method to collect detailed information related to the
topic (O'Leary,2017). The questionnaire form will be distributed to participants through E-mail.
Such tactics will be used for providing participants an ease in answering the questions.
QUESTIONNAIRE SYSTEM
In order to collect appropriate information related to the topic, survey will be conducted by
the researcher. The two methods which will be utilized for gathering the data through survey are
interview and questionnaire. Questionnaires will consists of close ended questions related to the
topic. Face to face interview will also be performed by interview for accumulating the
information relate to the subject. There is no big different between an interview and a
questionnaire. In the present research questionnaire method will be used to collect data from 30
doctors.
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Warburton and Bredin, (2016) state of positive health keep disease away
from the people. A person is counted as physically healthy when he doesn’t have any serious
disease but also have good fitness level. Health promotion is beneficial tool which helps the

dieting. People can improve their health by taking nutritional diet which includes fruits,
vegetables, whole grains, diary and the source of protein. But in the absence of proper diet
physical health can get badly affected.
Edelman, Mandle and Kudzma, (2017) stated that smoking is become part of trend in
present youth generation but smoking is the big reason of death. Smoking impact badly on
physical health as it increases the risk of cancer, asthma. But selection of good life style keeps
the person healthy and help in preventing own self from various dangerous diseases.
Relationship between mortality rate and physical health
O'Sullivan, Schmitz and Fulk, (2019) Physical health has significant relationship
with mortality rate, as in the recent time hospitals are offering advance medical services to
patients and also they encourage people to take care of their fitness by organising promotion
campaigns. This develops understanding of population and they take care of their wellbeing by
implementing correct diet, doing experience etc. This has helped in reducing the mortality rate in
United Kingdom. Poor physical health increases risk of diabetes, obesity which increase chances
of death. Earlier many young people were not paying attention of their health, most of the adults
