The happening of a life event with an individual can have a great impact on his or her

A person suffering from dementia will have impact in several ways (Zimbardo and Boyd, 2015).
The occurring of any life event will impact the individual in various ways. It will lead to
social, physical and psychological impact on his or her life.
Social impact- The person in most of their time do not interact with others. He thinks that it will

1.2 How group respond to life events
Whenever an individual suffers from any life event, the friends and relatives plays an
important role in overcoming that event. It is because these are people who remain very close to
that person. Also, they understand the behaviour their very well. Thus, they support and motivate
people in overcoming that event. In case of dementia family members should interact with them
in order to share their feelings. This will help in understanding their behaviour and providing
support. Also, by interacting with the society person will feel comfortable and will express his
thoughts. Therefore, family members provide emotional support whereas friends or relatives
provides social support. But sometimes, continuously communicating with that person impacts
others behaviour also (Hartin and Walker, 2017) This lead to affect their mental health and
makes them harsh towards others. So they avoid that and leaves the person alone.
Associates -It refers to the association that is made by group of people. These associations help
people to overcome form dementia by providing support to their families and involving person to
take part in certain events.
Communal media- By taking the help of social media person can share his problems. This will
help them to get solutions of their problems. Also, they will feel comfortable by communicating
with others.
Websites- There are various websites that is available on internet that provides solution on how
to deal with dementia suffering people (Surette and Shier, 2017) With this person can overcome
from dementia.
Therefore, by following or implementing these things groups or association can help a
person to recover from dementia. It will provide social support so that individual can interact
with others and easily overcome life event in short time.

people can be sent to care centres. These centres will provide effective services. With this
individual can be recovered from life event (Billett, Dymock and Choy, 2016).
Besides this, patient situation can be assessed. It can be done clinics or care centres. It is
because it consists of professionals that can easily deal with dementia people. These people
regularly visits patients home and keep record of behaviour and health. Along with this, the care
giver organisation in UK. They deal with dementia people by providing social and physical care.
For this they develop strategy and plans through which care will be given. Plans vary according
to age group such as children, youngsters, adults, etc.
There are communities that provide treatment to overcome life event. It contains staff and
workers that deal in critical situations (Kalla and et..al, 2017). In this methods are developed to
support dementia people.
3.2 How a person response to individual need
By implementing these recommendations I found out that individual suffering from
dementia should be provided proper care. It will be useful in quick recovering. I analysed that
dementia people behaviour changes with situation. They react differently with other people. So I
learned that by effectively communicating with them will help in identifying their needs and thus
improving behaviour. I came to a result that needs of people are different and it must be fulfilled
to give them a normal life. By analysing behaviour of different people I evaluated that
youngsters are not able to control their emotions. Sometimes they react very harsh to people.
This highly affects their mental health. Also, most of the time they avoid interacting with people.
I think that individual suffering from dementia should be given social support. It will help
them to recover from it quickly. For this yoga and meditation is the best way. It will improve
their mental health and give better environment. Also, it changes their behaviour to a large
extent. Once, mental health is improved then automatically overall health can be changed. The
most important thing that can be done for dementia people is to motivate them to share their
feelings. With this problems can be identified and measures can be taken to solve it. I also
observed that by continuously interacting with person will make him feel comfortable and
change their attitude. Moreover, I noticed that person share his feelings with close relatives
more often.
