INTRODUCTION
Simbound is a competition between the digital marketing techniques in which a team of
various individuals create a website. Digital marketing provide attention of large population
and contain various techniques to be followed in order to reach maximum population.
Simbound gives an opportunity to develop games and play them online. Simbound provide
chance to the teachers of the marketing students to give them a chance to practice different
digital market skills and techniques and get highest scores in range of metrics which includes
click-through rate (CTR), return on advertising spend (ROAS), conversions, impressions and
profits. Simbound also provides for reviews on student's results and behaviour that can be
verified by teachers. The simulation of Simbound for digital marketing provides quick as well
as easy ways to study websites and gain profits from them. Being an online program the
market is accessed with wider gap and reaches the large market with very less efforts. This
report contains the simbound game of teams in which a name is allotted to the team which is
yellow team with the objective to sell tablets pc and accessories in the target market of US
and UK on behave of an organisation. It discusses about techniques and strategies used to win
this game and focus on the challenges and hurdles face to complete this game. The website
management email marketing and search engine marketing techniques are used in this game.

ways. . Earlier, when digital marketing was not inaugurated, traditional marketing was on
trend. While they use traditional media like magazines, newspapers, radio which influenced
most of people(BHARDWAJ, 2019) . Whereas, digital marketing uses digital media such as
Social media, YouTube, Websites, etc. The techniques of digital marketing in this simbound
game are search engine marketing, website management and email marketing. In E-mail
marketing the commercial mails are sent to the potential customers or group of people
through broadcast list which request business or solicit sales. In search engine marketing is a
technique of marketing to increased visibility of a website in search engine result pages and it
is also known as cost per click or paid click. In website management provide number of

to manage whole website.

organisation is email marketing in which digital outlet uses the data collected from the
customers or through websites and broadcast mail on a regular basis about the offers in the

technique as it allows the organisation to build healthy as well as business relation by directly
contacting with the leads, customers and past customers. This marketing helps to reach each

Digital marketing is completely based on the technology and at this time of major
competition the technology changes are very rapid. With change in technology it became
important to develop or improve effective strategies to ensure sustainability of the
business(Lucius and Hanson, 2016). By accepting the idea of Simbound simulation, I was
capable of put my theoretical knowledge in real world practice and gain practical experience
of my learnings such as Website designing, A/B testing, etc. Simbound simulation helps me
to understand strategies to set up and everything from online advertising to online search
advertising campaigns. Charges for the license for same is 50 euros per licence and it does
not support any single brand. These licenses are apportioned in France, US, Netherland, etc.
directly or by resellers.
In the sector of education, it is essential to aware about Simbound simulation game as
it gives them to develop and improve their knowledge in that field at large scale. As I take my
topic as website management, SEM and email marketing. Through website management I
learn to design the website in a manner that it attracts more and more customers. It is used to

The given above are the results of week 1 so in my experience of se4lling I sell products
online. Different customers searches for different contents like product description, video of
product, etc.
Further there are several types of different brands in the market and it is essential to target a
proper brand which are popular within market. To figure this out I check my results at the end
of the week and also the feedbacks, it helps me to ascertain the brand I should target and will
be effective for my campaign. Various campaigns are introduced on the website to attract
more visitors. For example in order to increase sales various compaign introduced such as
30% off on new tablets,tablet surprise, discounted Asus tablets, etc. which gives good results
to the sale of the products and also attract the visitors on the website. A certain predetermined
budget was fixed for the campaigns like 750 for 30% off new tablets, 250 for Tablet surprises
and 200 for discounted Asus tablets. It provide a great results to the website and helps to
increase the score and increase traffic on the website. It also helps to get new and more
customers to the digital outlet company. This campaigns helps in conversions also.

To accomplish this I take help from my manager as they provide me a list of potential
keywords. This game Simbound simulation helps me to simplify the processed keywords
such as windows tablet, Samsung tablet, android tablet, etc. because of their low results in the
campaign. It is difficult to attract customers or visitors if these keywords are not used as they
are the phrases customers use when they made a search.

Simbound game taught me the importance of effectiveness of landing page. Taking
example of my game every landing page contains page score which is based on visitors visits
on my page and at what percentage. It is easy to ascertain the area of improvement and to

which helps to compare the products of both the companies in order to increase growth of the

pages as main aim of landing page is to convert traffic into custom house. So, the content
included in landing page should contain relatable information. At some stages individuals do
not wish to purchase product if it provides the deep knowledge of product so the content

Being specified:- Another point I learn from the game is that it is very important to be
specific to easily attract the customers. Hence my every advertisement has its own specific
website pages. There will be more chances to increase traffic for the landing page in more
specific content. So appropriate activities are needed to be carried out by using strategies
specifically.
Use of Infographics:- To carry out a digital business it is necessary to have a suitable
knowledge about use of infographics thus individuals will easily visit to website and do not
feel like moving during landing to pages and makes easy to engage them towards landing
pages. This infographic helps to develop and improve interest of customers on a specific
product, brand or website.
CONCLUSION
From the above it is clear the importance of three techniques discussed above that is search
engine marketing, email marketing and website management helps the digital marketing
approach to an organisation to boost their sales and assure that objectives are achieved in
efficient manner. Further it is very critical to track the visitors, understand the concept of pay
per click and the conversion of rates so that lending pages can be improved accordingly. It
also made clear the value of website designing to achieve the better results in a particular
period of time. It should be consider that the CPC and website should be designed in such a
manner that profitable and high results can be achieved. It is also ascertained that cost per
click also changed in all rounds and the email campaign has improves in round 4, 5 and 6. It
also helps to clear the concept of A/B testing and it is applied to all the campaigns during this
game. From all of the above it is recommended that all the three marketing used in game
helps organisation in a connected way and can be used in order to promote sales of
organisation. Digital marketing plays an important role in order to change the world of
marketing as it reach to every doorstep and considered as the most essential one tyo market
the products across geographical borders.
