INTRODUCTION
Simbound Game is a self-evaluation game which is helpful in understanding the various
aspects of marketing (David, 2016). It is a simulation game which allows a person to take a
direct experience of dealing with these aspects which allows learning and development. In this
report, there will be focus on evaluation of the importance of game in understanding the topic.
MAIN BODY
While playing Simbound Game I was able to understand Social Media Marketing in a
better way. Social Media Marketing has become quite important these days because the
customers prefer making the use of the different types of websites where they can assess the
goods provided by the different companies before making their buying decision. The use of
platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc. can be made so that the customers are
targeted according to their needs and preferences.
In Simbound Game, Tabletto is a retailer which provides different types of Tablet PC's
and accessories to the various customers in the market (Eastwood, 2017). The market which I
selected in the game for the purpose of promotion of these products was UK. The brand which I
selected for promotion was Samsung. Overall In the game there were 6 rounds in which each
one had a different budget. From Round 1 to 6, I had a fixed budget on which I had to incur my
expenditure related with the Social Media Marketing.
In the first step I had to Create my own digital marketing plan. In this plan, the result
which I was able to achieve was 100%. I was successful in creating the plan to target customers
in the market of UK for the Samsung tablets and accessories. The next step was to Create own
digital marketing assets. The result for this step was also 100% as I was able to ensure that the
different ways through which Digital marketing is carried out are identified. The next step was to
Keep a close eye on the deadlines. The deadlines were given for making sure that the sales of the
Samsung Tablet PC's and Accessories increase in the UK market. The next step was to analyse
the results of the Round 1. The result which was achieved in this task was 100% as here the
deviations and variations were identified and the actions were taken regarding the same. The
next step was Improve your marketing assets and decisions. As the Samsung Tablets are
reasonably priced at 40 euros they can attract the customers because they offer great features at a
much lower price.

Thus in this way Simbound Game was helpful for me in understanding the dynamics of
different types of geographic markets and ensuring that Social Media Marketing is used for
enhancing the level of sales in these markets to make sure that a company like Tabletto is able to
achieve the sales goals and objectives (Poldrack, 2020). The step-by-step approach provided in
the game and the nice interface further helped a lot in ensuring that the Social Media Marketing
was applied for attaining the marketing goals and objectives.
Thus I can say that playing the Simbound Game was very helpful for me in
understanding the way Social Media Marketing is done and the way the different types of
customers can be targeted. I can say that this game helped me in understanding the topic in the

products was done in a proper manner. It taught me the importance of following the steps
properly for ensuring that the marketing goals and objectives are attained successfully.

engine can be done. As Tabletto is an online platform which provides different types of
Tablets and Accessories to the customers it is helpful in ensuring that the identification of
appropriate Social Media Marketing Techniques can be done properly. This will help in
the future as one will be better prepared for dealing with the different types of situations
and circumstances in the future.
Further I feel that the use of Social Media Marketing is helpful for the businesses in the
future after playing the Simbound game. Thus According to me there are different Social Media
Marketing techniques which will be used by the businesses in the future-
