The systems of health are constantly changing in order to create a more collaborative
environment and in order to keep pace with the demographic compressions and meet up with the
complex care needs and the expectations of the public as well as of the patients. However, it is to
be noted that the professionals of health care must make the decisions on the basis of the
evidence, which is very much p to date and of the practice, which is very much the best.
However, the decisions must also be made on the basis of the lifestyle, comorbidities, and the
correct time of intervention of the patients. However, the decisions must also be made on the
basis of the referral of the patient. However, various studies that have been conducted indicate
the fact that some patients tends to get sub-optimal care because of the inability of the
professionals of the health care to identify and understand their deterioration and also because
they fail to understand the indications of the patients on the right time of the need. In order to
meet up with the demands of the patients, it is very much important to utilize the six 6’s of
nursing. The assignment will be focusing on the six c’s, which tend to lie of nursing in detail.
Various studies that have been conducted indicate the fact that various professionals of
health care fail to meet the demands of the patients because of various reasons. It is because of
this recommendation is being made by the RCUK that the professionals of the clinic or the health
care must utilize the ABCDE approach when dealing or assigning with the patients. It is also
being recommended to use the SBAR tool to communicate information and even ensure that
handover which is very effective (Clarke, 2014). It is because of these reasons the early
warning scorning tool which was being introduced in the year 2007 by that of the National
Patient Safety Agency in order to identify the patients who are constantly deterioration.
However, according to Mc Cullum, this tool is not at all effective because it tends to focus more
on the tool or the apparatus rather than the deteriorating condition of the patient. It is because of

this a pact was being developed by the author in order to support the utilization of the
systematically structured assessment tools in the settings, which is very much primary and
secondary. Apart from following the abcde structured approach to the care of the patients, it is
very important for the nurses to follow the six c’s of nursing. The six C’s of nursing is very much
incorporated in emotional intelligence, which is a significant quality that is very much required
by the nurses to successfully relate to that of the patients and colleagues (Clarke, 2014). The six
c’ is defined as the care that must be given by the professional of the health care to the patient.
The six c’s of nursing, which is being categorized, are the care, compassion, competence,
communication, courage, and that of the commitment. The care must be, which is correct to that
of the patient; the compassion that is being provided to the patient must be very much based on
empathy, compassion, and dignity. Competence is the ability of the nurse to understand the
health of the individual as well as the needs of the society. The care must be based on the
technical and clinical knowledge and even on the treatment, which is based on the research and
that of the evidence. The fourth c of nursing is that of communication. This is considered to be
a significant caring bonding and is even effective for team working as well. The fifth c of nursing
is that of courage. This means that the right person must have the courage and capability to do
the right thing for the people whom they tend to care at the right time. The courage ere also
indicates the fact the one must have the courage to speak when they tend to suffer or go through
some form of concern. However, it is also to be noted that the courage here also implies to have
the right strength and vision in order to create something new and even o embrace new methods
of working as well. The last c of nursing, which is being considered here is that of the
commitment. Here it indicates that the commitment to progress or develop the experience as well
as the c is of the patients. Apart from this, it is very much important for the nurses to assess the

patient from that of the head to the toe. This helps in understanding and check for the progress as
well as the problems which have been faced by the patient. Ethical understanding with the
patient must also be followed by the nurses with the patients so that the patients do not feel any
sort of uneasiness, and they tend to corporate with the nurses for their further treatment.
One of the significant talents of nursing is understanding and identifying the deteriorating
condition of the patient. In order to take the right care of the patient, it is very much important
for the nurses to react and respond to the deteriorating condition of the patient for which proper
training is very much required. However, there are many nurses who are not equipped with
skills. Therefore, these studies must be incorporated into the studies of nursing so that they can
treat the patients with full care. It is very much important that during the very first contact
between the nus end that of the patient, the nurse or the professionals of the clinic establishes
significant interpersonal talents that will be fostering a relationship of trust and bond between
the patient and the nurse and thus promoting the values of the six c's. though the abcde
approach, which is in conjunction with the ISBAR tool have been adopted, it is being
recommended that extending these tools will be helping the nurses to develop their competency
in the process of assessment and even help them in developing their operative talents of
reasoning while dealing with the patients.
