INTRODUCTION
The Lean methodology is considered as an operational idea which emphasised on
assessing as well as eliminating wastage within business organisation. This report is carried
on TESCO. It is multinational company which is located in UK. This organisation was
founded by Jack Cohen in the year of 1919. The main purpose of every organisation is to
provide superior quality products and services at affordable cost in order to satisfy them.
Apart from this, the Six Sigma offer high quality goods in order to minimize the defects in
them at affordable cost. And also the benefits and drawbacks of Six Sigma are discussed in
this assignment.
MAIN BODY
Lean Six Sigma is described as a procedure in which collaborative team make
contribution in boosting the performance in a systematic way by eliminating waste within
business organisation. Therefore, the manager focuses on improving quality which is
provided to customer by removing wastage at workplace (de Freitas, Costa and Ferraz, 2017).
There are various benefits as well as drawback of Lean Six Sigma which is going to be
mentioned below:
Advantages:
The main advantage of Lean Six Sigma is to provide superior quality products and
services to its customer in order to satisfy them as well as eliminating the error.
The implementation of Lean Six Sigma helps the business firm in increasing
profitability level at minimal cost in order to achieve favourable outcomes.
Herein, the main focuses of business firm in boosting sales as well as employment
growth in marketplace.
Moreover, the other benefit is to find deviation as well as emphasised on improving
process rather than ultimate results (Deblois and Lepanto, 2016).
Disadvantages:
The drawback of implementing Six Sigma is that this process focuses on bureaucracy
as it prevents business firm in bring innovative as well as creativity at workplace.

Therefore, it is necessary to replacing it through Future Lean Six sigma. For example total
