Personal and professional development is the procedure by which the single and
organization connect in the procedure of learning to meet the challenges and want goals. It is
connected with the improvement wants of single person and group. Professional development
includes improving the individual in their role to wholly understand the job they do and way
to improve. It includes increasing the important skills to carry out role as effectively and as
possible and is something which will continue throughout working life. With changes to my
working life incident everyday is it reasonable modification and adjustment in legislation and
advance of technology (Carpenter and Krutka, 2015). It is essential to develop my skills set to
remain effective in my career. Successful professional development includes ensuring my
knowledge and kinds of areas of expertise for my career are always at the largest the possible
level. It is the achievement of skills and knowledge for career progression but it also involve
components of personal development. Some illustrations of professional development like
information technology, legal knowledge or expertise etc. Some illustrations of personal
development such as leadership preparation, time management, communication skills and so
on. This report will identify and evaluate of skills and career ambitious by utilising the
appropriate model.

My career objective is to be manager of marketing department in the retail sector.
Therefore, I need to improve my skills and qualities for achieving my career goals and
objectives. I have great communication skills in both verbal and written. It is the very
essential to speak in front of consumers and public for promoting and selling the goods and
services. This can help to increase the profitability and productivity of brand as well as
company (Grima-Farrell, 2015). I have leadership skills in relation to that lead the team members
for effective promotion and advertisement for goods and services, product design and
development with the marketplace. In order to that, I am identifying and evaluating my skills
and qualities by utilising SWOT analysis which can help to me achieve the career objectives
and goals.

distracted with any small things which can effect in my career objectives and goals.

and Keller-Dupree, 2015). I am learning the methods, techniques, strategies about marketing by
training in the retail sector. In order to that, I am more trying to identify and evaluate the

personal and professional development within the personal and organization life. I should
