INTRODUCTION
The main objective of this report is to reflect on the various skills such as employability,
transferable and how these skills are essential for the various working scenarios. In addition
to that, this report comprises of the various skills and capabilities which is essential for the
work settings. In addition to that it involves the evaluation and articulation of the various
competencies, experiences and skills in reference to the organisational settings. Moreover,
the report involves the learning reflection which is important for the purpose to uplift the
career plans and my future goals.
Reflecting on the relationship between relevant theory and practice in my own work-related
experiences and goals
The relationship and integration practices and theory are considered to be one of the effective
and the most asked question which is very important in development of the professional
expertise and vocational competence (Mello, L.V. and Wattret, G., 2021).
It also involves different theories of the management which are carried out in the
workplace which contributes towards the performance and supports in improving the skills at the
workplace. In context to management practices, these are typically focuses upon the different
theories that comprises of various activities and practices in relation to the work based
environment. In addition to that, the professional development coursework, the application of
these theories is considered to be highly significant in order to judge the performance of students
who are the part of the work based learning (Davies, T., Macaulay, L. and Pretorius, L., 2019).
In addition to that, the work based culture theories such as Gibbs basically suggests the
abilities and skills which supports the career development and also helps the employees to work
with greater effectiveness and efficiency. With the application of Gibbs theories of academic
models, it helps in supporting various phenomena. In addition to that, these theoretical
framework helps in development of synthesis explaining the critics. In context to practice, it
helps in describing how people applies skills and knowledge in a specific situation. Moreover,
developing and understanding the theory is essential for the purpose to determine the various
strategies that suits the best and having proper learning atmosphere for the purpose to meet the

needs and learning profile requirements. In reference to the theory and practice, it plays a
important role for the purpose to demonstrate the capability in order to make effective use of the
various use of the evidence for the purpose to enhance the various concepts of reflection, skills
and competencies and having a deep understanding (Anisimova, A.G. and McNeilly, E., 2021).
In reference to my learning when it comes to work related goals and experiences, i need to make
effective use of various theories for the purpose to enhance the growth and also helping for the
purpose to improve performance during my work based learning. In addition to that, i have
related knowledge and understanding in the various areas of the theoretical memories which
helps in supporting the work based scenarios. In reference to work based scenarios, it involves
time management, good communication skills, management of stress, team working attributes
and also complying with different ethical standards( Khalid and Ahmad, 2021).
In addition to that, these theories must be applied in reference to the practical aspect as
these are very crucial for the purpose to increase the efficiency and productivity in various work
based scenarios. Moreover, i felt that i lack in team working, communication and also stress
management. In addition to that i am highly disciplined and also strictly behave as per the ethical
considerations. Furthermore, these theories of the work based scenarios basically implies to the
individuals working in teams with the coordination and collaboration. In addition to that,
according to the my goals and work experience, i am required to apply these frameworks in
context to the settings of the organisations. For the purpose to improve my professional
development, it is very important to make efficient use of the knowledge on the basis of various
employability theories such as Gibbs which helps in improving and contributing for the purpose
to enhance the scope my future development and career growth (Nghia and et.al., 2020).

Reflecting on my own transferable and employability skills in relation to the Bucks Graduate
Attributes
In context to Buck graduate attributes, it is used for the purpose to define the innovative leaders
development as the university’s corporate strategy which basically focuses on the creative
capacities and professional capacities. For the purpose to reflect on my transferable skills and
employability skills. In addition to the bucks graduate attributes, i have stated below the graduate
attributes in context to the abilities.
Self development and leadership: In context to leadership, it is one of the aspect instructing and
leading an individual or a group of individual and it is very critical in my work based settings
and for career growth. In addition to that self development, it basically refer to the attributes for
the purpose to determine the efforts to improve my personality through improving skills and self
evaluation. In context to the process of leadership, it allows me to maintain an attitude which
induces and inspires the fellow peers for the purpose to perform in a better way. In addition to
that, leadership is highly important for me in order to self develop which is related to the
working aspects on improving communication skills and grooming skills for the purpose to

impact the behaviours. In addition to that, i seek improvement in the self development and
leadership areas as i am not influential and effective for the purpose to determine the efforts of
the individual and also focusing on enhancement of the personality through improving skills and
self evaluation. The leadership allows me to maintain the attitude and seeking improvement in
the self development and area of leadership as i am not influential and effective for the purpose
to determine the performance of others. Work based environment which comprises of the
leadership attribute to guide me fellow and instruct the members as per the professional criteria.
In teaching field, this attribute is highly crucial for me as it influence and inspire the student’s
behaviour. The attribute of leadership is highly significant for me to determine the fellow
members performance in order to achieve mutual objectives.
Knowledge and its application: In my opinion, another major attribute is the bucks graduate
which comprises of the application of the knowledge which is a very important for me in my
professional development. In relation to the purpose of developing my professional attributes
which is essential for the purpose to make effective use of his knowledge areas. In context to the
crucial application of the knowledge which comprises of the practical approach for the purpose
to enhance career development and resolving various issues. My own abilities and skills helps in
construction of the application in the work based settings and i am not able to use knowledge. In
context to teaching areas, this attribute is considered to very significant for the professors to use
their knowledge and expertise in the student’s learning process. In addition to that, conducting
research, dissertation and creating accurate application of the knowledge is essentially required.
Responsibility, social and ethical awareness: In context to these attributes, it basically relates to
the practice of complying with the moral and ethical standards and working with the
responsibility (Mello, L.V. and Wattret, G., 2021).
This attributes basically suggests that an individual is related to the working manner
which is ethically and socially obliged for the purpose to comply with the organisational code of
conduct. In context to teaching, this attribute is highly related as the teachers need to felt obliged
socially towards the student’s behaviour. Therefore, it is very important to feel responsible for
the student’s performance and thus these attributes are highly important in the professional field
and work based learning. On basis of my work based settings experience, i have identified that i

am very well aware of the ethical and social responsibility and also know the ethical code of
conduct importance in the universities and complying with various principles for the purpose to
improve performance and avoid any kind of trouble situation. I am highly committed and
disciplined towards my work and also believes that working with integrity in the professional
manner is highly considered to be valid point.
Creativity: In context to organisation, the creativity is basically considered to be the success
areas for the purpose to make a person different from others for the purpose to increase the
competitive edge. It is basically the skills which makes a person to stand out in the crowd.
Moreover, in organisation and work based setting, the employees are promoted and awarded as
per the innovatively and creativity which contributes in uplifting their performance (Khalid, K.
and Ahmad, A.M., 2021).
In my area of profession, it is very important to apply this attribute as professors are required to
teach with creativity in such a manner which provides students with constructive guidance. The
pattern and approach that a professor follows in providing learning lectures to students is very
important for determining the quality of a teacher to help students in gaining understanding on
concepts. Creativity is the key in deciding an approach which is to be followed by teachers for
effective learning. For me creativity played a very important role as it really helped in improving
my overall learning and also with the help of creative skills i could be able to perform in more
effective manner.
Identifying goals for my career development
For my effective career development, my significant goals includes enhancement of
various skills to increase possibilities of high future success in my professional area. According
to my career goal, it is very important for me to learn certain skills so that I can positively
perform into my career field. I have to be good in terms of communication skills so that I can
communicate effectively communicate my information to other people as well. I need to have
proper understanding into the context of research and studying parameters so that I can do the
research into result oriented manner. According to my knowledge i need to have deeper
understanding in the field of health care sector and it is very important for me to learn new skills

so that my research level can reaches to the next higher level (Davies, T., Macaulay, L. and
Pretorius, L., 2019).
For becoming a professor, I need to clear certain level of qualification so that I can reach
to that stage where I can become an eligible professor at university or researcher in a well
reputed lab. I need to develop problem solving skill into my nature so that in future i can solve
the problems of my students into effective manner. The habit of reading lots of books and
internet surfing gives me the opportunity to present myself into different situations in a effective
manner. I have excellent level of skill of presentation skill due to which I can easily explain the
concepts to other people as well. I have good writing skills due to which it help me in terms of
my career field into positive manner. I need to be good in terms of writing research reports into
precise and to the point manner as well. Within the work-related context, i have to face lots of
problems and challenges so for that purpose i have to be prepared for solving any kind of
problem for which i have to be excellent in terms of problem solving skills. According to my
experience, while working as researcher into the lab, I ned to be very strong in terms of patience
level so that I can perform into effective manner from the perspective of future into result
oriented manner. So in the overall manner, it has been observed that these skills help me in the
future career goal into positive manner with the effective results as well.
CONCLUSION
From the above reflection, it has been concluded that it is very important to understand the
relationship between theory and practice for the purpose of effective professional development.
This reflective report has assessed by own practice in relation with application of theory into
practice in work based environment. Moreover, this report has concluded assessment of my
employability and transferable skills in order to enhance my career development. The bucks
graduate attributes are helpful in defining the criteria on which professional development could
be evaluated and assessed. This report concluded my career goals and required set of skills which
I need to enhance my skills and competencies.
