INTRODUCTION
The challenge which has been reflected here by the assistance of portfolio is acknowledged
and is related with presentation challenges. It is important for student to make an effective and
attractive presentation by using skills and knowledge as well. The challenges that is analysed is
to make presentation on the topic SWOT analysis of TESCO. It is a multinational retailer that
offer high quality and grocery in market and is located in UK. The reflection on the same is
given below:
ANALYSIS OF CHALLENGE
This presentation challenge needed the organisation to effectively implement all the
marketing activities and conduct research in order to attain competitive position within the retail
sector. The presentation sates that biggest competitors of TESCO is ALDI, LIDL and many
more. It is determine that this challenge emphasis upon existing performance and business
operations as well. Moreover, it involve several recommendations in order to make
improvements and strengthen its market position globally.
DISCUSSION OF SKILLS
By the presentation, it is analysed by me that my communication skill is developed that
will help me in future to deliver presentation in a more effective and attractive manner. One of
the important skill that is required to present the task is effective research skills that assist in
gathering quality data and information on the particular topic. It is determine by me that it
involve both negative and positive related to the overall challenge. Moreover, it is analysed by
me that I have good leadership skill as I develop good relation with my team members that help
me to gain positive outcomes. By the help of this, I improved my team management skill and
because of this, I am able to deliver presentation on time period. Furthermore, there were some
negative aspects that create hurdles for me in competing the presentation and deliver it properly.
One of my weaknesses is I am not good in presentation skills and it was quite difficult for me to

deliver and make it understand to other people. It is important for me to improve my presentation
skills as it help me in future to grab better opportunities.
ACTION PLAN
It is essential for me to improve my skills in which I lack and is create hurdles for me to
deliver good presentation. Improvements in skill and gaining of knowledge help me to grab
opportunities in future. I have decided to improve my presentation skills in the coming 10
months within the university. In addition to this, I decided to take training session during my
studies that help me in developing my research skills and to gain an understanding about
different presentation software. All this will help me in giving effective presentation that has
positive impact on my personal development as well.
CONCLUSION
From the above study, it is concluded that presentation enable me to enhance skills and
knowledge that help me for personal as well as professional development. In addition to this, it
assist me in gaining knowledge about corporate sector which in turn aid in gaining opportunity in
future.
