Executive Summary
Tesco is one of the biggest retail firm in United Kingdom. Report discusses
various challenges that occur during apprentice, T-shirt, presentation. It will help in
deciding strategy and make a suitable plan to manage problem that come in path

Graduate challenge can be explain as different types of problem that occur
during studies as well as internship. Tesco retail firm offer internship to number of
students so that they can improve their skills during the studies and it will impact on
their personal as well as professional growth.
2.The Challenges: Please analyse the following ……………………………………
a) Apprentice Challenge:
It can be defined as a challenge that occur during internship, it can be of any
type such as Time management, communication skills etc. It is necessary that this
problems must be addresses timely so that personal can prepare for corporate
world.
b) Presentation Challenge:
It refers to the challenge that individual faces during presenting information to
people such as lack of creativity skill which can decrease quality of presentation.
This type of challenge must be overcome timely so that during seminars, job etc. one
can influence other by impressive presentation.
c) T-shirt Challenge:
It can be explained as a challenge that arise during branding a T-shirt for
example: negative statement can offend others and decrease good-will of
organization in changing business.

Branding:
I have learn so many thing about branding such as it become important that
people can easily attract by your product and services and it can impact on growth of
market. T-shit of Tesco company is very impressive and during the internship we
able to identify that firm use single line quote to attract people and increase profit
share in changing business. Firm has a good image in front of others because of
quality product which again improve brand value. I observe that so many investors
easily attract by branding of Tesco and hence contribute in expansion in different
part of Globe. Visionary approach with effective management help in reaching to
customer and improve brand image of organization in changing business. Firm also

I am able to understand various types of operation that Tesco perform to grow
and expand business for example: Advance Technology in Tesco that I am able to
understand from the presentation help workforce and increase efficiency, quality and
productivity of work and support growth of organization. Firm also use multiple
promotion strategy for attracting customers such as digital marketing, media etc.
Sup[ply chain management of Tesco is very effective that explain in its brochure
which again help me to understand the way in which it reaches to customers and
increase their satisfaction level in time of globalization.
Finance:
There are number of ways which Tesco uses from allocation to management
of fund which I am able to understand by presentation that they show us during
internships. It helps me to understand the way in which budget can be planned and
monitor. It is necessary that resource must be allocated in positive manner which
can support growth of project. I can say that in the future able to make proper
business plan and budget can easily be controlled & monitor.
4.The Skills:
a. Communication Skills/ Emotional Intelligence:
Communication skills help me a lot in connecting with people and overcoming
from different challenges that occurs during internship in Tesco such as I was able to
explain everything effectively to people from my presentation. Goleman's emotion
intelligence again improve efficiency, quality and productivity of my work impact on
my growth (Livesey, 2017). It has five component namely self awareness, regulation,
internal motivation, empathy and social skills. I use this theory which increase my
interaction level as well as performance. It also helps me in team management as
well as leadership which is needed in changing business.
b. Teamwork:
In the initial period of internship I am not able work efficiently and participate
in various task but after sometimes with the help of professors as well as friends able
to overcome from it. I also use Tuck man's Team, development theory which again
impact on team work (Natvig and Stark, 2016). In the beaning our professor created

Operation:

c. Time Management and meeting skills:
Time management is one of the biggest problem that I face during the
internship and there are number of time I am not able to submit report but action plan
can help me in reducing it. In the meeting, I am not able to reach on time because of
late night work and improper schedule (Wain, 2017).
d. Presentation skills, Excel etc.
I am not good at presentation which again effect on work which was collected and
analysis by strong effort. Lack of software knowledge again effect on my presentation skills
and it needs to be addresses timely.
5.Action Plan:
Goals Action Timescale
Time management I will wake up early so that my day will be long and
work can be done timely. Schedule every task and
fixed time for it which again help in improving time
management skill.
It will take 6
months time
Presentation skills I will take couching for improving my presentation
skills and focus on Ms Excel, Word, Power point
software which can impact on my work.
In 1 year I
will able to
learn most of

It can be analysed from the report that different challenges come across in
graduation as well as internship but by improving skills such as time management,
presentation can impact on personal as well as professional growth.
