1PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
1. Currently I am perusing my career in B. Tech in the stream CSE. My short time career
plan includes joining an internship in a specific company. This would help me if I go to
work in a good company. The knowledge that I would gain from the internship would
help me in nourishing my IT skills and help me when I would join a company for a
particular job (Larrucea et al., 2016). This job is aligned for me because it relates to my
current study as I am doing B Tech in CSE.
2. Some skills required for the job that I have chosen are as follows
 Skills of android programming
 Skills of C++ programming
 Teamwork
 Presentation

3. Skills that have been mentioned above in the assignment like knowledge in Android and
C programming, team work and presentation are required for the job that I aspire for.

Among these skills I have one skill which is knowledge of C programming. I have gained
this knowledge during my semester course. I have partial knowledge regarding teamwork
(Li, Ko& Zhu, 2015). This is because we used to perform practical and many other tasks
in groups. Different groups had a different point of view and different opinions, listening
to everyone and taking actions accordingly is very tough, it enquires various skills. These
skills were provided to us during our semesters.
4. The skills I do not acquire are presentation and knowledge on android programming. I
would need to acquire these skills in order to do better during my internship. The
knowledge of these skills would allow me to perform better in my internship and the
skills would be revised when I would be provided training on these skills (Liu et al.,
2016). There are various steps that I need to take in order to acquire these skills. These
steps are as follows
 I would have to undergo training where I will be taught about android
programming.
 The project that I will be performing after my training would help me to
practice my knowledge that I have acquired. I can show my project certificate
in my internship, this would be of a great help for me.
 In order to gain presentation skills I need to join a grooming center. Taking
training in this center would help me to groom my presentation skills.
ARE process
ARE process consists of three parts named awareness, recognition and experience.
Awareness would make me aware of the skills that I need to acquire for doing internship
successfully (Li, Ko& Zhu, 2015). Recognition helps me in recognizing the skills that I
have and shortlist the ones that I do not have. Experience would help me to practice the

skills that I have as well as the ones that I need to acquire. Experience of these skills
would help me to gain more knowledge.
5. The long term career goal that I am aiming for is to get a job in a multinational company.
Till the time I would join the company I would have the skills that are required to get the
job. After 5 years I see myself as a person who has earner a very good post in my job and
working hard for the betterment of the company.
