gain experience and grow career in professional field. The presentation skills are basically
delivered the information and engaging with audience through presentation. It is important role
play in both educational and professional level to improve own presentation abilities and
transmit message effective ways. Time management skill refers the way to organize plan where
how it will spend time on particular activities. For Example- student accomplish more in short
time, which increase free time so that they take advantage of learning opportunities. In
professional level, team work is important aspects of efforts undertaken by each member to
achieve specific goals and objectives. In order to increase opportunities for student in goal
achievements. The listening skill is considered as an ability to receive the information in
different communication channel. In professional, Listening is important key in effective
communication where it supports for student to understand details about of current project.
Technical skill is a type of ability and knowledge that needed to perform multiple task. It

Communication Skills: Communication must be effective in order to for improve academic
grades and to settle down in professional environment. It involves presentation of ideas
adequately in a scholastic environment. In order to have better grades and excel in their career,
students must possess various skills that is being related to communication (Snow, Wardley and
Maher, 2019). Students must have a good command on both verbal and nonverbal
communications. In verbal communication, students must be an active listener, they must also
have good pronunciation ability. This will also support them in enhancing their grades as well as
they will also have good career opportunities. Effective communication also means that
individual possess good writing skills. In this they must be aware about their goals and
objectives clearly.
Problem solving skills: Students must be able to solve their own problem related to
assignment. They must be able to identify and analyse the issues which they are facing in their
studies, this aspect will help them in improving their grades. In order to solve the problem
students can also take assistance form their professors and feedback from their peers so that they
can overcome issues which they are facing while studying. Taking feedback will also be able to
make their work better. If students possess good problem solving skills then they can become a
better leader in future, they can involve in making their careers in leadership and management.
This skill can only be developed by students if they are an active listener, as being a keen listener
will assist them in knowing keen facts by which problems will be easily solved.
Management skills: This skill is being used by students so that they can independently
complete their assignment or task which is given to them. Work can also be managed by them
effectively by maintaining excel and word documents. Self-management strategies are important
for the success and growth of students. Skill like this make them efficient and helps them in
completing their work on time. Self-management strategies can assist students in achieving their
objectives and comparing their performance as they are working towards achievement of goals.
If students are self-managed, then they are easily able to solve problems related to their studies.
For managing oneself they also need to set specific goals that will enhance their academic

Lifelong learning: There are various beneficial lifelong learning skills that needs to be
possess by students like for example critical and analytical thinking, leadership skills and many
more. Students must bring out innovative and creative ways to complete the task and assignment.
Being innovative classroom will assist children in laying good impression in front of their
professors. They can also learn leadership skill by re-presenting their group in activities
conducted in Universities. This skill can assist them in making their career in leadership and
management field. Also students must possess effective reading and presentation skill in lifelong
learning as this can help them in improving their academic grades. Lifelong learning also
emphasises on strong personal development which is necessary for achievement of goals.
Presentation skills: In order to improve academic grades students must possess good
presentation skills, like for example they must be confident while speaking in front of their
professors and peers (Young and Wilkinson, 2019). Good presentation has various visual and
audio aids in it, so students should make slides presentable by adding graphs, charts, pictures.
This will lay impression in the mind of viewers. Students while giving presentation needs to be
audible, they must have clear pronunciation so that it becomes easier for audience to understand
what presenter is trying to explain. Notes must also be not read by children while they are
presenting something as this can make their presentation look dull. Students must be enthusiastic
while giving presentation, as enthusiasm will enhance their confidence.
Personal Development Plan: This plan will assist students in identifying their strength and
weakness. Personal development plan helps children in also analysing their skills and abilities.
They would be able to know their short term as well as long term career development goals. Also
this plan can assist them in knowing about ways to improve the skills in which they are lacking
in (Hill and et.al., 2019). It is very essential for growth and development of students. Resources
that will be required to develop the skills are also mentioned in PDP. This plan assists children in
developing emotionally, physically and mentally. It helps in making students realise their
maximum potential. They can become a better influencer by using personal development plan for
their growth.
Time Management: Managing time is essential for students, for improvising their academic
grades. Students can effectively manage their time by prioritising the task which is of utmost
importance. By this they would be able to complete their assignment and class work on time.
Effective time management strategies can also make students more productive, as they would be

able to invest their time in more important activities. Number sense can also be developed while
effectively managing time, they would be able to know number of hours which is required to

grades can be improved and work can be finished on time. This will also make them more
efficient in their working. Students can also prepare master schedule in which they can write
down the checklist which needs to be finished by them. It will help them in exceling in their

Team-work: It means working together in groups. Team working can assist students in
finishing the task given to them before time. Students needs to possess good team working skill
as this will help them in making better relationship with other group member (Hill and et.al.,
2019). Children needs to have sense about their individual responsibility, they must be knowing
what they need to do. As only this aspect can help them in increasing the productivity of team.
Group member must be supportive of each other and also must be engaged in giving feedback to
one another so that they can improvise their skills and abilities related to work. Working in team
can also encourage self-awareness which is most required in increasing academic grades.
Listening Skills: Students needs to be an active listener in class then only they would be
able to increase their knowledge which will help them in enhancing their academic growth.
Being a good listener will also enhance their learning (Ewing, Remund and Dargay, 2019). Also
they would be able to better understand the problems which students are facing while completing
their assignments. This skill is most important in classroom and even outside classroom. Active
listening can also enhance problem-solving, leadership and team working skills in students
which are of utmost importance for their career growth. When students are an active listener they
can also enhance their relationship with teachers, they can take feedback from professors which
would be beneficial for their career growth. Students who are not attentive listeners must develop
this skill in order to enhance their academic growth.
Technology skills: For better career growth, students’ needs to have an expertise in using
micros fit software that includes various features like word, PowerPoint, excel. These apps can
help them in handling their assignment effectively. They can make their class work look more
presentable by having keen knowledge related to Microsoft. It will also enhance their
relationship with teachers. Also when professors make use of innovative technology to teach like
for example using Projectors to present something, this enhances learning experience of students.

Making use of technology also make communication effective between students and teachers.
Like for example through Electronic Blackboard teacher can easily communicate important
notices to children. Students can also learn through E-books which saves a lot of time, as they do
not have to visit Library again and again.
Self-Management skills: Self-management can help students in completing their
assignment on time. This also increases their focus power so that they can achieve goals firmly
and adequately (Donald, Baruch and Ashleigh, 2019). They would be able to contribute better
towards their work when they are effectively managing all their work by themselves. This also
reduces burden from teachers as students are able to do assignment on their own. Also their
grades will be improved, if they are able to finish class and home work on time. Self-
management skills can also enhance confidence level in students, they become more active in
their studies. This is beneficial for their career growth.
Interpersonal skills: This means students are able to communicate effectively through
active listening. This skill assists students in making a good bond with their professors which is
important for their career. It helps them in connecting with other students which is also beneficial
for their personality. This skill when possess by students can also enhance productivity end
effectiveness of team. Important information can also have passed on when students have good
interpersonal skills. This can reduce chaos or conflict if exist in team. Many problems can be
solved through this.
