INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is an educational strategy voice students would realize work
experience where they can apply academic and technical skills it will be helpful in
developing their employability. It is a proactive approach which bridges the gap between high
school and high school careers. It is essential to develop skills as by personal and professional
development this can be helpful in attracting employment opportunities and enhances
knowledge through which assigned tasks and duties can be met effectively. The VARK
model of learning style states that there are four types of learners- visual auditory, reading
and writing and kinesthetic (de la Puente Pacheco, M. A and et.al., 2021). The initials of
VARK stands for visual, aural, read/ write and kinesthetic. This report will define my work-
based learning skills and competencies. The research will discuss learnings from the module
which supported in developing and shaping skills for future development. This paper will
outline my learning thought out the module and how other skills will be developed for future
job and employment opportunity.

Learning from the module
This module has been a medium for enhancing and developing various skins which
can be helpful in attracting effective employment opportunities. This model has been the
medium photo editing workplace skills which will assist in performing activities in the
organization more effectively. From this module I observed that innovation in learning plays
a crucial role as this can drive interest in learning sessions where students can actively engage
in those sessions. There are various factors or variables which are helpful in creating
innovative approaches of teaching which can drive learners (Edelenbosch, R and et.al., 2015).
The variables which can create effective instruction methods are- active student involvement,
attracting student attention, boosting their motivation, individual principle and displays used
in lessons.
Individual learning style refers to style which can be used in the process of learning or

understood that learners which have more than one learning style can be termed as bimodal.
In this module, i was able to develop various skill sets with the help of VARK model.
This model supported me in developing my visual, aural, reading or writing and kinesthetic
skills. From this module I understood that in visual mode students are more acceptable for
learning through interpreting charts, pictures, graphs and figures (Gary, K., 2015). In Aural
mode, students focus on gathering information by listening and discussion. Whereas in
reading mode these students tend to collect information in a printed format. Lastly in
kinesthetic mode, learners are keener towards accepting learning based on behavior.
Some of the skills which are developed from this module are addressed below:

which will be helpful in clearing doubts of audience and from this module, I was able
to work on my listening skills and understanding which announced my
communication skills through which I can discuss with others effectively.

given in workplace and such skills will be helpful in communicating with coworkers
(Kennedy, M and et.al., 2015). Throughout this module I understood that, development of
workplace skills is essential to perform daily task within an organization then it will be
helpful in meeting professional standards and targets. Some of the workplace skills which I
have learned from this module are discussed below:
Positive attitude- From this module, I was able to work on my attitude better
understood the value of positive attitude through it I can work more effectively in the
organization. This module supported me in understanding the importance of keeping
positive attitude in an organization as this will be helpful in listening and
understanding the work which needs to be done and will also encourage in performing
up to best potential for meeting the desired objectives (Rodríguez, J and et.al., 2015).
The module helped in learning daily and accepting the change which is required
which motivated me in keeping a positive attitude and mindset through which I can
