Employability can be referred as attributes or abilities of a person that helps the person to
maintain and gain employment. It helps un in gaining employment and becoming successful.
There were various kinds of mini project workshops attended by us, each mini project workshop
helped us in developing our employability in many ways. Each of the mini project helped in
enhancing my employability skills. All the mini files were chosen in such a manner that it helps
in presenting my skills and knowledge in front of the employer. Creating a strong CV helped me
in understanding ways in which we should present our soft skills, hard skills, education,
strengths, weakness or interest to the employer. Other than this, cover letter also helped me in
understanding ways in which our skills and experience should be presented so that it matches
skills and experience that are required within desired job. It is extremely important to present out
skills that are desired for the job for employability. SWOT analysis mini project workshop
helped in to analyse what are my strengths and weaknesses, ways in which I can use my
strengths and weaknesses to achieve future opportunities. It also helped me to understand what
are the things that I should focus on improving that in future can become threat and can work as
a barrier in my employability. CV, cover letter and SWOT analysis are three most important
things that highly contribute in development of employability skills.
There were various other mini projects that helped me in development of employability
and skills required. Group presentation helped me in enhancing my communication skill that
plays a vital role in employability as it helps in explaining our skills, education, strengths,
qualities etc. to the employer. Time management project was one of the most important projects
that helped me in learning importance of time management, ways in which I can complete all the
allotted task in time as well as can maintain both personal and professional life in an excellent
manner. With these workshops I also learned importance of referencing it helped in
understanding ways in which we can differentiate our own work and cited work of others. It is
one of the most important employability skills as it helps others in explaining from where we had
gained that understanding. I also learnt characteristics of effective group, this helped in
learning characteristics that are required to built or work in an effective group. It is extremely
important for employability as in organization we need to work in teams for effective results.
Task management was one of the most important mini projects as it helped me in enhancing by
critical thinking skills as critical thinking skills helps us in evaluating priority of new projects

which is extremely important in development of employability. This workshop also helped in
learning good characteristics of LinkedIn profile as excellent LinkedIn profile helps in
increasing employability opportunities. Different parts of communication process helped me
in developing my listening, observational and analysis skills as listening, observing and them
analysing the same helps in enhancing communication process. This workshop also helped me in
understanding what makes a good interview, this helped me in strengthening my knowledge and
skills required in interview process. Lastly, understating different stages of group development
helped in strengthening my leadership qualities which is extremely important in development of
employability.
