Part 1.
One of the most important skills for being job ready is communication skill that I
possess. I can say that it has become the strength of my personality as without these two
skills, nobody in this competitive world could survive or even enter the competitive business
world. Communication skills, both verbal as well as written has helped me in the past to cope
with the situation. Hence, as my support, I could use these communication skills in near
future. Effective communication skill has brought many positives in my life as I used to be
the leader of any team. I was the team leader for the project based on the health of Aboriginal
children. Communicating with the people associated was much a challenge which I positively
done. I created effective connection with those people and my team members so that the
project can be done successfully.
Part 2.
I have chosen this particular question as I think I can reflect on the skill of mine more
elaborately. This is because it is easy to discuss about one’s own strengths and skills. For me
it is necessary to know what I want and what I can (Wendleton 2014, p.101).Moreover, by
discussing my skills, I can reveal the different aspects of my personality, which can help me
know myself better and identify the elements that I lack. Therefore, based on this discussion I
could improve my skills and could be more job-ready for future.
This particular question was not difficult for me as I think I know myself better than
anyone in this world does. Moreover, analyzing my strength though initially was difficult but
I could remember the responses and appreciation of my peers and team members, which they
used to comment on my negotiation skill through effective communication (Fuhr, Laros&
Taylor 2017, p.20). Hence, I did not find it difficult to write my strength elaborately.

Reflection about own thoughts and actions help people to know more about oneself
which can further help to eradicate weakness as it is the only way towards self-revelation.
Through reflection, I found the scope to think about my goals and me for which, most people
do not have the time or the opportunity. Reflection has helped me undergo this process of
conversation with myself that was important for my self-improvement (Lichtenberg,
Lachmann & Fosshage 2016, p.149). Through this process of reflection, I could identify
many flaws in me that I need to eradicate as soon as possible. These negativities can affect
my personality and influence the development of my organizational career and individual
driven career (Harrington & Hall 2007, p.182). Through the process of self-analysis; I could
understand how I can match my strength with job readiness, which is essential because early
preparation increases the chances of better opportunities. Reflection has helped me to build
emotional self-awareness, which is directly associated with self-confidence. Thus, with this, I
could utilize my strength to increase my job readiness and find more opportunities for career
advancement.
