This report reflects on the development of professional skills through participation in the Graduate Challenge, focusing on three major challenges: the Apprentice Challenge, Presentation Challenges, and the T-shirt Challenge. The report analyzes each challenge from a business perspective and reflects on the personal skills developed, including communication, time management, teamwork, and business acumen. Specific examples from the author's experiences at the University of London School of Science and Technology and Marks and Spencer are used to illustrate the development of these skills. INTRODUCTION
Development of professional skills and has its own importance in the life of an individual. In
order to gaining and successful position in the career, it is necessary for the individual to grow
and develop their professional skills. It help them in completing all the assigned task in a
professional manner. Development of Wheels on is also essential as it'll directly leads to the
achievement of a all the desired goals in an effective and efficient manner. For the same purpose
the individual have to evaluate their professional skills and knowledge. In order to developing
the professional skills in an individual it is necessary to do proper planning and discussion which
support the professional life of individual. Hence, it is found as necessary to construct a proper
network. This report covers the analysis of each challenge from the point of view of business.
Along with this it also include the reflection on the skills which individual is required to develop
for the purpose of removing the challenges.

TASK
Apprentice Challenge
It refers to the Challenger which helps the individual for developing the communication
skills in an effective manner. In order to do the development of effective ideas for a group of
people, apprentice challenges covers a vital role. I was encountered with a situation when I was
studying in the university of London School of Science and Technology. It becomes necessary
for me to overcome from the apprentice challenge. As a result I started working on my skills
which help me in overcoming from this. Several of skills which I had developed within me in
order to overcoming from the apprentice challenger are discussed below:
 Communication Skills: The development of skills found as essential for an individual for
the purpose of achieving the successful position in life. It require a lots of efforts and I
tried my best to develop this skill. The effective communication skills help me in
conveying all my opinion to my team members and fellow mates in an effective and
efficient manner. It is necessary to communicate in a proper manner with the team
members so that they can listen the task and discussion in a proper manner and complete
the task in an effective and efficient manner. During my studies I performed several
assignments in which I have to work with the team members. I had used my
communication skills in conveying the data to my team members so that the data would
be clearly communicated to them and they can work accordingly in order to achieving the
objectives of a specific task.
 Time management skills: In order to achieving the organizational goals and objectives it
is necessary to perform all the relevant task on time. In the personal life of an individual,
time management also plays an important role. I had performed well during my studies
by completing all the assigned task and assignments on time. It leads to the personal and
professional development in my life.
 Team work: For the purpose of accomplishing the objectives in an effective and efficient
manner, it has been found as an essential skilled as it complete the task in a perfect
manner. It has found it at all the people have a different skills which stated that a team
have collection of all the skills and knowledge. By performing the work and task in a
group, an individual can enhance the knowledge along with the development of skills.

This skill also useful in dividing the complete task or workload among the all team
members which bring the efficiency in the work which leads to the directly achievement
of objectives. My teamwork skills were not so good at initial stage but I participate
several of a group assignments for the purpose of improving this and I got success.
 Business Skills: It was really difficult to develop the skills of business within me as it
require is set of several skills and abilities. While I was trying to develop business skills
within me I face to several of challenges which also result in the development of some
skills as well. By adopting these set of skills I am able to take the effective decisions
according to the situations which is very necessary for accomplishing the personal and
professional goals. The development of problem solving skills within me helps me in
removing several of problems which I faced in my personal and professional life.
Presentation Challenges
It is a defined as the processor underwear teacher the main objective of presentation
presenter is making the audience hero by making them feel comfortable to them in order to
conveying their message to them in an effective manner. When I was working as a marketing
team manager in Marks and Spencer, I also require to give the presentation to my team members
which include the information regarding the product and their benefits. By communicating with
the employees and consumers of Marks and Spencer, I develop several of skills within mean.
Some of such skills are explained below:
 Communication Skills: As a marketing team manager I have to explain the products with
their benefits to the customers along with the several employees. The marketing manager
is also responsible for solving the queries of customers and employees as well. For the
same purpose it is necessary to have proper communication skills. By the development of
communication skills within me I am able to overcome from the challenges of
presentation.
 Team Work: As a marketing team manager of Marks and Spencer I have to to work in
the team but not individually. By working in a team or a group I am able to do the
coordination with the several employees and fellow mates which help me in a developing
the teamwork skills within me. It also plays an important role in overcoming from the
challenges which I faced in presentation.

 Time management skills: I was responsible for managing coordinating and completing
all the assigned task in a proper manner when I was working as a marketing team
manager in Marks and Spencer. This skill plays an important role in completing all the
assigned task in a proper duration of time. It also give the birth to the problem solving
and decision making skills as well.
T shirt Challenge
A duty has been assigned to me which involved with the launch of a new t-shirt which
the logo of the organisation. For the purpose of performing the challenge it was necessary for me
to develop some skills. Below mention all the description of some skills which I developed for
overcoming the Tshirt challenge:
 Communication Skills: By communicating with my team I can easily complete the
assigned duty. For the same purpose it is required to communicate with my team
members and other employees in order to complete the assigned task. Hence it has been
found that a communication skills plays an important role in this task.
 Team Work: When I was working on a t-shirt Challenger it was necessary for me to
complete this challenge within a team. Hence it is necessary to develop a proper
coordination with the complete team which is useful in facing the challenges together. It
is necessary for me as a teen leader to communicate and collaborate with all the team
members which plays an important role in facing this challenge.
 Time management Skills: As a team manager it was necessary to make sure that the
assigned task would complete in the assigned duration of time period. I develop the
discipline and punctuality within which helped me in facing the challenge and completing
the entire work with managing the time.
 Business Skills: Now I have to convince the consumers and employees to buy the t-shirt.
For the same purpose it was necessary for me to develop the business skills within me. It
also leads to the development of professionalism skills within me.

An action plan on how you will develop these skills
I can you develop the above mentioned skills only with the help of SMART analysis.
Below mentioned is the detailed discussion of this analysis which also shows the action plan:
 Specific: The development of communication skills is necessary for the purpose of
developing the presentation in a better manner which leads to the accomplishing of
professional long term goals in an effective manner.
 Measurable: The target which is set by my authorities can be achieved by me with full
productivity. Communication skill has been utilized by me to make my professional
career better.
 Achievable: This set of skill has been achieved by me by perusing the diploma courses
which effectively better my communication skill.
 Relevant: in order to show relevancy, the result of the diploma and certificates of my
courses has to be taken by me which make sure the authenticity and reliability.
 Time frame: to develop this skill within me I need at-least 8 months.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above report that the involvement of an individual in
professional life plays an important role. In order to grabbing all the opportunities and future
career growth, it is essential to develop the relevant skills. There are three skills which include
time management communication skills and teamwork skills help me in overcoming from the
several challenges which I faced during my work life. It is essential to develop these skills in
performing the operations related to the finance branding and production. In addition to this,
SMART analysis has been performed for the purpose of evolving the communication skills
within me to make my future better.
