INTRODUCTION
The demonstration of the reflective portfolios helps in the assessment of the professional
and personal development which proves to be an aid in the explication of what all has been
experienced by an individual. The insights and the understandings through the continuous
engagement of the applications can be determined through the formulation of a structured
reflection (Antunes, Gonçalves and Estevão, 2022). This portfolio tends to enumerate the
summary of the practical approaches that has been inculcated by me throughout the journey of
learning. The elucidation of the goals and objectives in regards to the formulation of a personal
development plan, inclusive of the all-embracing content of the portfolio will thereby be done in
this study.

Reflective account upon the analytical and comprehensive understanding of skills.
The personalized goal of mine is to become an influential project manager of the
company I have been employed in. I have significantly been working in a MNC under the head
of the managerial team. The experiences that have been learned by me are in the terms of the
analytical research, logical reasoning and the comprehensive knowledge of the marketing
channels (Rosseel and Anseel, 2022). This has helped me in the understanding of the
mechanisms of the external market along with the considerations that are to be made for the
internal and external analysis of the commercial corporates.
The Personal Portfolio content includes the following dimensions that will be expounded
by me in this segment of the study. I have been working with a reputed firm as an assistant
manager. My core responsibility is to handle the functional team that has been assigned to me
and report the processing and the respective work to my superior. Throughout my job role, I have
experienced the acquirement of superior scale of skills such as the fluency in my spoken English,
the ability to comprehend towards the problems of my subordinates, ability to reason out the
logical conception involved in the decision-making process and the expertise to handle and
manage the functional and operational tasks of the team (Basagaña and Barrera-Gómez, 2022).
The completion of several on the job training programs that has been organized by my company,
has helped me to excel in the field of management that can prove to be an aid in the futuristic

endeavors of mine. For the successful accomplishment of my dream job role, i.e., being a project
manager of my company, I have taken the help of a personalized SWOT analysis. This will help
me in the identification of my key strengths, loopholes and the relative scope of opportunities
along with the presence of threats in the pathway.
Strengths – My core competency is in the effective management of a team force. I am capable
enough to handle the issues and the problems of the teammates and bring appropriate resolutions
in regards to their respective complications. Along with this, I have substantial capability to carry
forward with the work of research and analytical reasoning in an impinging manner.
Weaknesses – The presence of lags cannot be ignored and my personal weakness is in the area of
financing. I am not that strong in regards to the apportionment of the budgets for the smooth and
hassle-free functioning of the business. I have to deliberately work on this skill for the attainment
of my targeted goal (Eale and Goodwin, 2022).
Opportunities – There are number of opportunities present in my field to take part, such as the
supervision of the projects in the absence of the project heads. I can learn the dynamics of the
sphere and try to implement the same in my work. This would help me in the acquirement of the
level of expertise that is required to become the project manager of the company.
Threats – The inefficiency in the learning of the modern analytical software that are specifically
designed for the project managers can become a significant threat in my pathway. For this, I have
to be prudent enough to learn the methodologies in order to accomplish my role as the project
head of the department.
Furthermore, the incorporation of SMART goals will help in the attainment of the
personalized objective of mine. The specificity of the goal, which is the acquirement of the
position of an influential and capable project head of the company I am currently working in as
an assistant manager along with the scope to measure the level of progress, has to be determined
by me in a comprehensive manner (Horodynski and et. al., 2022). The actions that will be taken
by me, in regards to the expertise that I will gain through my experiences in the field is very
much relative to my professional capacity’s scope. The time period that has been ascertained by
me for the accomplishment of this goal of mine is an approximate sphere of 3 years from now.

The achievement of the below mentioned skills must be acquired by me for the effectual
progress in the subject matter.
Power of Negotiation – It is very important for a project manager to have the capability for
carrying out effective negotiations in the field. This particular skill will enable the head to
accurately seal the deals with the contractors and other related parties. This furthermore will help
me in the conciliation of the managerial issues that can take place amongst the team members.
Competence in the analytical skills – The comprehensive knowledge of analytical and statistical
tools will be a requisite for the project managers to efficaciously resolve the statistical interfaces.
This is very much important for the heads so as to comprehend towards the 360-degree point of
view in regards to the pertaining problem of the project (Jørgensen, Skovbjerg and Bang, 2022).
Leadership skills – The provision of a successive direction to the team is imperative in order to
manage the workforce and compel them to work in accordance to the pathway. I have been
working as an assistance manger of a company and have a through knowledge in regards to this
sphere of the job role. I have to gather intrinsic skills in this domain for the attainment of my
goal.
Risk management – The preventive measures that has to be made by a project manger for the
unforeseen contingencies in the process of planning is a mandatory task that has to be completed
by them in order to close the project in the determined manner (Zeb and et. al., 2022). This trait
is thereby a very significant skill of a persuasive project manager to imbibe.

For the successful completion of the process of learning, it is very important to lay down
a structured plan which will prove to be an assistance in the attainment of the ascertained goals
and purposes. I have detailed out a PDP that will act like a guide to me to take the significant
steps for my futuristic aim in the field of management (Mamede and Schmidt, 2022).

GOAL My significant goal is to become the project manager
of the company I have been working for the past 4
years.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE  I have completed number of internships from

the year 2016-2018, with reputed firms when I
was pursuing my degree in BBA. This has
helped me in understanding the dimensions of
the field of management in detail.
 I have been working in this company since
2016, where I started as a subordinate in a
research team. I have been able to retain in this
company since then through my deliberate hard
work and have conquered the level of expertise
in the marketing analysis, team management
skills and the comprehensive knowledge of the
strategic scrutiny (Otero, Salgado and Moscoso,
2022).
 Now, I am the assistant manager of the
company and aim to become the project head
through my cautious and unhurried
accomplishment of the required skills for the
job position.
REQUIRED EXPERTISE  The comprehensive knowledge of the software
associated with the statistical interface such as
the expertise in the conception of Lean Six
Sigma and Agile methodology can help me in a
significant manner.
 Furthermore, a successful completion in the
course of project management will be an
additional benefit which would help me in the
achievement of the goal at a faster pace.
 The practical experience in this field will
thereby help me in the journey of being the
supreme leader of a project (Redmond and et.
al., 2022).

TIME PERIOD I have given myself an approximate haul of 3 years
from now onwards. I will measure and evaluate the
results on a continuous basis through the practical
implications of the developed skills which I will be
learning in the process.
CONCLUSION
An inference can thus be made that the development of a reflective portfolio, based upon
the identification and listing of the personal and professional experiences that can prove to be a
guide for the determination of the relative competencies and the weaknesses of an individual.
This thereby helped in the formulation of a detailed plan of action that will prove to be an
assistance in the attainment of the desired goals and objectives for the futuristic growth and
development in the respective career of an individual. This will furthermore help in the
comprehension of a structure pathway that must be taken into account for the accomplishment of
the subjective as well as the objective evolution.
