INTRODUCTION
Development of skills and abilities is very important task to a person in this dynamic and
modern world. There is no person can achieve appropriate outcomes in market place without
improving its different skills, abilities and competences (Shukla and Kumar, 2017). A reflection
has been included below on skills and abilities. The Gibbs model has used here to reflect on
existing three key skills, like; communication, time management and teamworking skills.
MAIN BODY
Reflection
Reflection is very important way to a person for gaining very appropriate results in market
place. Basically, when any person reflects on its past experiences, then it can simply enable to
learn from them. Reflection technique enable to people for not conducting such practices in the
future which was affected its liv negatively in the past. It contributes in the personal and
professional development as well.
Gibbs Reflective Cycle
Gibbs reflective cycle is very appropriate as well as productive tool to everyone for
reflecting on the past activities. This model first introduced by Mr. Graham Gibbs in the year
1988. Mr. Gibbs was basically launched the book, named; “learning from doing”, and this this
book informs people about how to learn from activities which they have conducted before
(Rumson, 2018). Gibbs reflective cycle generally includes six reflection stages which has been
discussed below;
Description
There are skills, like; teamwork, communication and time management etc. very essential
to me, and it cannot imagine my life without these all skills. Currently I have some more
employability skills and abilities as well, like; problem solving, interpersonal, information &
communication abilities, etc. But still the first three skills are very important to me. These skills
have helped me at every stage of life. For example; after having teamwork skills I can simply
work in team work effectively. Communication skills contributes in perfectly interacting with
any person in workplace. Lastly, time management skills can enable me for completing my

management are not good, they are poor, so I need to make a specific plan in order to develop
these skills.
Feelings
It felt that, continues development of skills and abilities is very mandatory task to me,
because after having many well-developed skills, I can simply improve my personality and
professionalism. Currently there is huge competition in market place, and people in market value
only those people who has very excellent personality and professionalism (Vetter and
Wingenbach, 2019). In this situation, focusing on continuously developing own abilities and
skills is very important task to me. Of course, I have very well communication skills, but my
team work ability is just good and time management skills are very poor. In this situation, I felt
that, after making an effective development plan, I can simply make my time management and
team work skills very excellent and appropriate. At the end, these all skills will be able to boost
own performance and productivity at any workplace.
Evaluation
The good factor is that because of the communication and team work I was able to give in
my personal best in the task. I want to be satisfied with the work I am doing which is only
possible when there is going to be good distribution and communication which would be present.
Due to lack of problem solving skills there were a lot of problems which rose for getting time
management be present but due to the right measures and team working skills I was able to
control the task effectively and make sure that the best outcome is going to come out of it (Doh
and et.al., 2017). Everyone was good at communication and is able to put their points forward
and made more ideas and creativity rise but that is good and bad at the same time which is that
there are a lot of factors which are getting affected. I did a good job in the limited time we had in
hand to be able to fulfil the need and expectation of the task. I did try to give in my best but
monitoring the data I had collected was making me so confused and did not come to a conclusion
making the time management skill not be in help at that time and there was a lot of pressure I felt
at that time which is not good for the working.
Analysis

The situations which come in front of me was that I lacked the skill of problem solving
which made the overall task get affected majorly and this factor has to be improved so that next
time I would be able to give in my best. There was a lot of discussion on topic and the data

Conclusion
In the end there were fast decisions which were taken and that has made the expected results

did try to bring out the best from everyone and that is important. I am much focused on my work
and if I would have taken the initiative of controlling and monitoring everyone to be able to
check if the work is being done on time would have made the outcomes even better. It is
important for the group to have a team leader and for that there has to be good control on the
team so that there is going to be higher results which can be expected (Liu, Wang and Huang,
2017). I can improve the numeracy skill as well which is going to make me be able to operate
effectively for the career goal I have set for myself.
Action plan
There are a lot of skills which I have understood would be helpful for the future career goals
and targets I have set. These skills have to be improved effectively so that there is going to be
better functioning which would be present. The further report is going to discuss the action plan I
would like to have for myself which is going to maintain my time management skill in me as
well as make me improve these skills on time (Haji and Hossain, 2016).

are some of the basic needs in an individual so that there is going to be higher performance and
