1. INTRODUCTION
Skills refer to the ability as well as capacity that is acquired by systematic and
deliberate efforts to carry out the complex activities in effective way. Thus, it is important
for every individual to develop their skills so that they can easily attain their set goals
and objectives and at the same time also enhance their personal development ( Coffey,
2014). Mainly, it is an ability to do something best which may developed through training
and experience as well. Present report is based on development of the skills through
Teenage Cancer Research. This study is related with the Fundraising. Project also
includes contribution of individual and team performance. Along with this, Honey &
Mumford model is also mentioned in this report which help in determining the
experience in the team project.
2. AUDIT AND EVALUATION OF KEY SKILLS
2.1 Evaluate the developing skills
It is important for every individual to evaluate as well as develop their skills to
handle all the activities in effective way. With the help of this, they can easily attain their
targets. In context of Teenage Cancer research, I am member of this team that prepare
a plan for Fundraising. For this, we thought to sell pens. In the planning process,
number of skills are required to make effective plan. It will help the team to execute
activities in appropriate way. As there are some skills that can be develop and evaluate
through formative exercise:
Teamwork: It is one of the important skill which required in the planning process.
By this, all the team members can easily perform their task and also motivate each
other to do best for fundraising. For attaining better success, it is vital for me and my
team members to make better coordination among team members. This will contribute
in making able to effectively perform task. For example, to sell the pens, team members
prepare a plan to sell pens in which all the members are perform their task in a team
and also tries to influence customers to buy its products.. It help me in improving team
working skills.
Communication: This type of skill also play vital role in any kind of activities and
planning. By this, individual can easily share their views and opinion with each other.

should proper distribution of powers and responsibilities among team and their
members. Moreover understand their strengths and weaknesses that helps in
understand their key areas. With the assistance of this, I can easily raise the fund for
supporting the Teenage Cancer. In context of raising fund, it is important for me to set
all the activities on the basis of specific time. This will help in improving overall
performance and at the same time also assist me to attain set goals and objectives in
allotted time frame.
