sacrifice their position. Firms do adopt this strategy to reduce its cost of production to the
maximum possibilities to stay less affected by the economic recession1.

In this article, the author has picked up a very good topic which is focused on the various
employability skills. The author has tried to draw the attention towards the importance of several
kinds of employability skills. According to the author, the various employability skills are
valuable but such skills on its own may not help to get the desired job. Notably, an employee
with a particular skill in a specific expertise has to face the obstacles which can be in the form of
a changed labor market. There are preferences given to a specific field of expertise and students
are being graduated on that particular skill only. However, the existing labor market demands a
more dimension graduate which is well versed with the various kinds of different skills.
Employers in the contemporary age prefer graduates who have been graduated on multi-skills. In
the light of the thoughts that have been presented by the author, it can be said that the present day
graduates need to focus on multi-level skills. Graduate with a set of different skills will have a
high chance of getting the job.

resource department has been able to train graduates on the relevant skills. They do it with the

curriculum. They in the light of the provided curriculum find this much easier to train graduates
on relevant sills which could provide them the employability solution.

However, they have not been able to groom graduates in regards to communication and
the latest technologies. Communication is the one skill which requires a professional
development plan to be infused from each individual graduate. In this way, they will be able to
improve their graduate skills in regards to effective communication. On the other hand, the
author has also drawn the focus towards the importance of technology which has now become a
necessity to the entry-level graduates. The entry-level graduates need to have the different
technical skills which may vary from accounts related technologies to the IT related skills.

academic learning system in Nigeria. In Nigeria, the Learning Management System (LMS) is in
practice. The learning management system which is conducted with the help of Web 2.0 software
is being used there for redesigning the study curriculum. The technology offers much more to
students like they can access the number of training courses at the global level. Additionally,
they could also access the various educational courses. The system will also bring changes in the
administration system in academics. Moreover, all such changes will help students to be in a
state where they will be acquainted with a set of skills that will open up chances for them once
they are out for the job.
The author has indicated that the employability issue which is growing for the graduates
can be sorted out. The job crisis can be managed if the students are being put to such a learning

practical circumstances. Such graduates may face the challenge to crack the interview and get the
job. This is not only harmful to the particular graduate but will also affect the employability
status of the specific country. However, by going with the way as suggested by the author,
graduate engineers will be able to understand the different circumstances and will also have an
improved communication skill that is necessary to get employed.
