The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of sleeping disorder in the adult of
Vancouver. In order to conduct the research, a paid survey has been conducted by the researcher.
For collecting data through the survey, Google forms have been used. In spite of the fact that a
limited number of people are suffering from major sleep disorder in the nation, steps to eradicate
the disease needs to be taken from the now.

Introduction
Sleep disorder, also known as Insomnia is conspired to be a medical disorder of sleeping
pattern of an individual. Insomnia interferes with physiological, physical, emotional and social
functioning of an individual. It has been found that insomnia is more prevalent in individuals
who possess a busy schedule compared to people who lead a relaxed lifestyle. The Aim of the
research paper is to evaluate the impact of sleeping disorder among the adults who resides in
Vancouver, Canada.
Methods
In order to conduct the research, a paid survey has been conducted by the researcher. For
collecting data through the survey, Google forms have been used. Links has been sent to people
for filling the survey reports. When it comes to sampling, probability sampling technique has
been followed. Probability sampling is defined as the sampling technique where all the samples
are selected in a haphazard as well as random method based on the theory of probability. For a
participant to be considered as a probability, probability sampling must be selected using a
random selection. The total number of samples used for the mentioned survey was 58. 60
samples were randomly selected initially. Amongst them 2 partcipants were unable to fill up the
given form due to several reasons. Survey forms were provided online to the samples and all the
instructions for filling up the sample along with the reason behind conducting the research has
been provided within it.

From the result obtained, it can be clearly understood that few number of individuals are
suffering from sleeping disorder in Vancouver. However, considering the fact that 3.7 percent of
the individuals do not possess a regular sleep schedule, there prevails a risk that the number of
people suffering from sleeping disorder may increase in the following years. The symptoms that
is exhibited by the samples for poor night sleep does indicate the initial symptoms of insomnia.
According to de Zambotti et al., (2018) daytime tiredness as well as irritability, depression as
well as as anxiety are some of the major initial symptoms of the disease. Bélanger et al. (2016)
stated that insomnia possess the potential to impose severe adverse impact on the mental health
of the patient (Wickwire et al., 2019). The disease is under recognized since people often
believe its symptoms are normal, and many suffer through it without seeking treatment.
Untreated Insomnia may diminish the quality of life, inducing conditions like fatigue, bad mood
and even visual disorder
Conclusion
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that, it is prime time for the citizens of
Vancouver to modify their sleeping schedules as well as diet in order to ensure an insomnia free
life style. In spite of the fact that a limited number of people are suffering from major sleep
disorder in the nation, steps to eradicate the disease needs to be taken from the now.
