Abstract
The concept of smart citis integrates use of information and communicaion technology
where many physical devices used to connect to the internet of things network in order to
connect citizens and to optimise the efficency of city serives and operations. Use of the subjtive
network on smart cities bring many pros as well as cons. On one side it brings convenience to the
life of people and provide information realted to paarking system, medical evolution and other.
Iot is able to provide sufficient data for collection. It can predcit information relatd to air
pollution as well as to make the “city air management tool” unique. Traffic management, smart
waste maanagenet and smart parking are other areas which are benefited throgh use of IoT
systeme in smart cities. The text presneted hereby is focused on positive as well as negative side.
The cons of IoT applicaton on smart cities includes risk of hacking. Anything which is digital
always remain at risk. People in smart cities starts relying on technology which furtehr creates
issues. At the incidents where network is attacked or down it can affetc life of many citizens . Iot
devices can pose direct target even in worse manner than email and webiste accounts as Iot
devices are physical object which remain available with people. These devices does rely on
internte and any failure of connction is likeely to defeat the objectives (Goldber, 2020).
