Introduction
Internet of Things has played the main role in making the lives of the people easier and comfortable in
many aspects. IOT is one of the rising technologies that give tough competitions to recent technologies
and provides great advantages to the human. For Automation, IOT is most beneficial. The best part of
IOT is that it provides its wealthy functionalities and operations for making the system effective as well
as efficient for various uses. IoT also provides functionalities in order to make the system more efficient
and less time-consuming. Also, it helps in optimizing the resources usage.
The report also talks about different inventions based on IoT technology. The main part that is being
explained here is the implementation of the Smart Office Culture. A lot of inventions including
opening/closing the doors, Ceiling fans and many more are also been discussed here.

PART-1
Melbourne Smart Office Design:
1. Setting up the Registration server and wireless router
Figure 1: Registration Server
Adding Registration Server to the network where smart devices will get registered.
This IOT Registration server is placed at the Melbourne office branch.
All the devices will be accessible remotely once IOT devices get registered to this Server.
Figure 2: Registration Server IP configuration
As shown in the above figure, configuring static IPV4 address on Registration Server.
All the smart devices will have this IPV4 address to get registered on the server.
All the smart devices will be accessible remotely over this address.

Figure 3: Inserting Credentials
As shown in the above figure, turning on the Registration server with Username & Password as per
the assignment.
Username & Password would be Student ID.
By turning ON the Server Registration Server starts its service.
2. (a).Configuring the devices for the Wireless router LAN
Figure 4: Wireless Router
As shown in the above figure, adding Wireless Router (Khan, M. A., & Salah, K. 2018)).
The user will access the Registration Server via this wireless router.
Users will connect to SSID and then the user will access the smart devices & Server.

Figure 5: Wireless Configuration
As shown in the above figure, SSID “11662075” has been configured at 1-2.412 GHz.
The user will connect to this SSID by using credential.
This SSID configured with WPA2-PSK authentication, so the user is required to enter the passphrase.
This SSID configured with TKIP Encryption.
2. (b). Connecting and activating the devices for the registration to the IoT
registration server
Figure 6: Tablet
As shown in the above figure, adding the Wireless Tablet in Network.
Wireless Tablet will give access to the user for Registration Server.
The user will access the Smart devices remotely by Wireless Tablet.
The user is required to create an account on Registration Server to manage the IOT devices.
Document Page
Figure 7: SSID connection
As shown in the above figure, the user is trying to connect with the SSID using PassPhrase.
The user is required to select WPA2-PSK authentication with TKIP encryption.
After using the correct credential, User will connect to SSID and will be able to access the
Registration Server and the IOT smart devices.
