This is an age of digital era and to move with era organizations continuously move on
technology. The leaders fundamentally rethink about technology or tools, processes and the
manpower that is required to face the digital era trend. Moving to new technology is not a big
deal but understanding about the new trend and technologies like cloud can effectively
benefit to information technology and the entire business. This track is focused on potential
transformation issues that an SME face whole moving to the cloud. Cloud is the most
powerful on the go technology and a vehicle for digital trend business. There is a number of
I&O organization who adopt a specific way to leverage the capability of cloud and make
strategies for future with this on the go solutions. One can’t say about what the issue can be
rise without covering migration tactics, selection of vendor, optimizations, and selection of
cloud environment.
Cloud Computing is the fastest growing and most popular technology and is the most
powerful solution for issues that an organization faces. The number of cloud service
providers tries to extend their services by 2020 while the SMEs are keen to expand to cloud
services and tries to make the cloud to their integral business part. The continuous revolutions
and innovations in cloud technology offer a broad range of opportunities to small and
medium level enterprises to boost their work efficiency to reach to the top. This is not only
about SMEs but for the organization too, to take their whole business operation to a new
height by optimizing the works activities. It offers security over data, enhanced data storage,
0% downtime, well managed CRM, use of the latest tool and technology from anywhere at
any time which saves a huge amount of investment and time.

 Once the migration is complete check again about security and also considers the
provider risk management policies.
 Continuously monitor the services and data. It requires a watchful eye.
Social or ethical issues
There are two main ethical issues related to cloud-based services. The first one is the
selection of technology and the second one is a daily risk to put the data on to the cloud
platform. Since this is a place where multiple users store their sensitive data that require great
security and best security management policies to ensure that the data is safe. The social or
ethical issue with this technology is as follows:
 Most of the service provider didn’t inform their customer when a data breach issue occurs
and this is the major social issue because some time they fail to take backup of data and
lost everything.
 The other social or ethical issue is when an SME fail to create a backup from cloud
platform and left using services of cloud then they are no longer to access those.
 Another ethical issue is when an SME upload their intellectual properties over the cloud
and the people get access in any way or download the asset, result in loss of trust of
customer and can damage the business process of the domain organization.
Standards or legal issues
The cloud-enabled platform or services has been highly criticized because of the high risk in
data security and security breaches. In Australia or throughout the world there is numerous

legal rule sometime organization mistakenly assume everything is clear. The standard issue is
as follows:
 Wrongful use of credential is the first standard issue that often an SME or an organization
does. This may enable an attacker to take control of data by gaining access.
 If an SME or employee left their organization and have cloud-based credentials, then they
can use it for personal profit.
 Since the number of customers stores their sensitive data over the cloud, so it is most
important to enable two-way securities. In most of the cases, a nontechnical person
forgets to enable verification security parameter which results in data violation.

Cloud-based solutions clearly provide a huge amount of advantages to any type of
organization and their SMEs. But moving from a current trend to cloud-based services is not
easy. It requires strategies to adopt the services of cloud because an inappropriate adoption
can fail all strategies of the whole organization. Cloud computing becomes most powerful
buzz of this era and business small and large size already get benefit from its services like
software as a service that is also called SaaS. But there can be a problem if the SMEs did not
implement the cloud solution properly. The biggest issue which is faced by IT industry called
security. When SMEs migrate with cloud business services, have to move lots of sensitive
data from local computer to cloud. During this crucial period, it requires special attention.
Since the public cloud services are multi-tenant and it may be possible to affect the whole
data by the vulnerabilities or defect the organizational codes. So SMEs must be sure about the
understanding of about the cloud-based infrastructure where required to migration is required.
