INTRODUCTION
 Tommies childcare is a small family owned business that was
formed in 1998. It provides health care services to children in
their growth and development. The business also provides
education services to them. It is delivering educational services
for pre school children since 20 years. They are operating in 8
location across Coventry, Derby, etc. Their approach is open
ended in which children are motivated to use natural materials
and develop a broader sense of imagination. The value of firm is
combined vision that is related to work which is done.

Products and services – the main service offered by Tommies childcare is education for
pre school. It offers early year education to them. The business also provides food and
nutrition to children.
Food and nutrition – Tommies childcare also develop children social skills and taste in
food by providing mid day meal. The menu includes healthy and balanced diet with
breakfast, lunch, etc. Moreover, dietary needs are identified and fulfilled.

Funding
 NEF- it is a government scheme that provide funds to Tommies childcare. There are
various schemes in it which can be opted by parents according to eligibility of children.
Parents can access NEF within 2 months.
 EYPP- This is another funding to support child development and learning. In this
according to per hour benefits are given. Here, local authority is also involved in case
of special guardianship of child.

venture. Also, business differs from entrepreneurship.
 This is because a business can be family owned but entrepreneur refers to executing a
new idea into business. Moreover, small and medium enterprise are those firms that are
set up to provide products and services in small area.
 They generally operate at low level. There are several types of SME that exists within
nation. Furthermore, different types of SME entrepreneurship is as follows :-

TYPES OF SME
 Small business enterprise: A small enterprise is a venture which is privately owned
and operated by individual or groups with a small quantity of personnel and
comparatively low extent of sales. However, small corporations includes food stores,
hairstylists, experts, tour operators, cybercafes, carpenters, plummet, lineman and many
others.

 Large company entrepreneurship: Huge corporations operate their business by
maintaining creativity, offering new products which are strong competitor of different
companies products and new and improved merchandise are developed so that they
can meet with converting purchaser wants and digitized technology. However,
organizations develop this by joining with large companies.
 Social business ventures: Social entrepreneurship is a venture where the person
develops products and services to manage society's issues and difficulties that are faced
by the people. Moreover, their most effective purpose is to benefit the society and no
longer to make income or profits from that business.

 Scalable business enterprise: In this form of entrepreneurship, Individuals and groups
initiates their business by believing that their objective can develop the perception of
the people. However, they fund their business with the help of capitalists and they
recruit the most skilled and potential employees in order to take the business at higher
level. Moreover, Scalable business ventures includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter,
various shopping applications.
