TASK 2
A) Benefits and drawbacks of one modern management approach
Quantitative approach
It has been recognized as the important tool of analysis and language for the precise
expression of the important concept and relationship. In this context, the organization is using
effective business framework that needs to be utilized by them for an effective knowledge
management. It can express in mathematical terms which provide tools for the analysis but they
will be treated an independent system of management thought (Walz and Gilbert, 2014).
Benefits of the System approach of modern management which is used by the snap chat
organization is mentioned above:
ï‚· Provides contribution in the field of management is significant.
ï‚· Also, provided support in implementation of various business processes as well as
increase knowledge of employees.
ï‚· It is also based on the generalization that everything in the process of management is
interrelated and interdependent.
ï‚· Composed of related and dependent element which in interaction forms a unitary whole.
Moreover, there are some drawbacks of the quantitative approach have been discussed above:
ï‚· Does provide weight age to human element which plays dominant role in organisation.
ï‚· In actual life executives have to take decisions quickly without waiting for full
information to develop models(Best,Moffett and McAdam,2016).
ï‚· Variable towards the process of decision making will be measurable and inter dependent.
This assumption will not be realistic for every organisation.
ï‚· Information which is available in the organisation for development of mathematical
models are not up to date and will lead to wrong decision making.
Thus, it can be said that the organisation needs to use an effective approach of modern
management which provide them support in increasing the opportunities of knowledge
management for employees at workplace.

There are three important elements of this cultural web have been mentioned in order to provide
completing understanding about the ways through which the organisation will use these elements
to raise the knowledge management. Below given are the three important elements which are as
follows:
Stories: In this, the previous events are considered and the people will communicate about inside
as well as outside the Snapchat. It also determines the who and what the organisation will choose
to immortalize which has said that great deal related to what the values and also perceives the
great behaviour(Bourne,2016).
Symbols: It is also major element of the cultural web framework which mainly involves the
logos of organisation which plush the offices are and formal and informal dress codes. It is also
used by the organisation to gain importance about various business features.
Organisational structure: This is also includes the structure which have been defined by the
organisation chart and unwritten lines of the power and influence which indicates that whose
contributions are most valued.
Thus, it can be said that these important element will be used by enterprise in order to regulate
their business operations effectively and increasing recognition among the people. This will tend
