Introduction
The present assignment is based upon defining the job description, cover letter and resume. It
indicates that Sobeys’ is looking candidates for the profile of marketing executive who is able
to perform all promotional and advertising activities. I saw the advertisement for the same on
the social media page of the company and fascinated to apply it; the organization is hiring
fresher for the same profile and also offerings a good salary package. Recently, I have
completed my graduation in marketing management; thus as a fresher, it would be a good
starting for me to improve my practical knowledge of marketing. I have a good knowledge of
core marketing areas, such as – promotion, producing a marketing plan, market research,
assessing customers’ needs, public relations, customers’ service etc.
Sobeys' is the chosen organization for this assignment as it is the second largest food retailing
company in Canada by having almost 1500 stores over the nation. The organization is
operating stores in all ten provinces as well as accumulated sales of $24 billion. There are
over 125000 employees presently working in Sobeys. Along with this, the mission statement
of the company is to help people in finding and choosing the best quality products or services
by using natural resources. Besides this, the vision statement of Sobeys' is to become the
largest company in the world which values customers' and communities and helps them to
live a healthy life.

Sobeys’ is recruiting for the profile of Marketing manager or Executive who enables to
performs activities, such as – communicating with target audiences, taking feedbacks from

on.
