social care.

ROLES OF NON DIRECT WORKERS IN
SOCIAL CARE ENVIRONMENT
There are specific roles that are performed by non direct care
workers of NHS. Some of them are discussed as below:
Office staff: The receptionist acts by guiding strangers who visit
to meet people present in old aged homes.
Maintenance of environment: The role of cleaner and gardener
is prominent for home of NHS.

appreciated. Old aged people like to visit church or garden or
any other place, the needs of driver arise, hence the role of
drivers is important.

Verbally communication skills: This is essential to make the
individuals feel free to speak to the appointed staff in terms of
any needs.
Non verbally communication skills: This type of communication
indicates about body language, presentation etc., which shows the
other person is interested in listening or not.

Supervision and management and values of it: Management
