INTRODUCTION
In the today's era, heath and social care organisation is the industry which is growing
continuously. As people are suffering from different disease or heath problems. It is very
important that heath care homes need to be increase so that every individual can be taken cured.
The report includes different principles, legislation and code of conduct are adopted by the heath
and care industry in order to cater the different needs and wants of the customers so that they can
be away from different disease and heath problems (Martínez-González, Berchtold and Egger,
2014). It is the responsibility of heath and care organisation to serve quality services to the
patient so that they can able to reduce their disability and heath problems. There are several
heath care practices and policies which need to followed by the heath care service providers so
that they can maintain proper and healthy environment in their premises. For this report East and
west care home have been taken, which is in the London and deliver care services to the different
individual which are facing various heath issues. In this report, benefits of person centric
approach has also discussed with respect of East and west care home organisation.

Question 1 (1.1): Explanation about the different principles of the person's care in the health and
social care venture.
It has been founded that East and west care home are not able to cater the needs and
wants of the customers who are facing lots of heath issues. Thus, the manager of the organisation
need to follow the different principles and laws of the heath and care organisation so that they
can solve the problems which they are facing nowadays in order to serve different services to
their patients. With the help of different principles, they can able to solve the problem of Denis
which is he facing and helps them to recover from the high tendency of self-harming due to
frustration, the principles are as follows:

customers. So all the heath care and service providers not to serve any information as it is against
the legal right. East and west care home's service experts should follow these principles in order

to provide privacy and independence. This is because they are following this principle and
service taker are very disappoint from this act.
Principle of Respect towards all the stakeholders: Heath and care Service providers and health
experts in this organisation are accountable in treating the disability and health issue of service
users. Other than that employees and care providers need to understand all the patient as a family
member and then they need to take care. With that they need to value and respect all the
customers so that they can fell comfortable in the heath and care premises. With that they need to
avoid all misbehave and abuse in the premises so that all the customers find that they are safe in
the organisation and care home. If the service expert adopts the principles of respect then east
and west care home service user's complaint can be overcome. With that they will able to solve
the problem of Denis.
Principles of confidentiality: According to this principle, all the heath and care providers need to
maintain the privacy in giving the personal information about the customers. Personal data can
only be served to the family members of the customers so that they can feel that proper privary is
maintained in the organisation. This will remove the problem of Denis and he can be taken cured
from the frustration. Protecting the private details of a patient is not just a matter of moral
respect, it is essential in retaining the important bond of trust between the health and social care
practitioner and the individual service user. Other than that it is also related to the privacy, which
state that services providers ans users should have sense to access the personal information. The
act related to this principle is The Data Protection Act 1998, The Access to Health Records Act
1990, The Medical Reports Act 1988 etc.
Promoting Equality & Diversity: Patients and service users are individual people and the venture
should always strive to ensure that their diverse needs are met and ensure that they have equal
access to the services they provide. This is particularly important for adults in need who, because
of a disability, illness or their age, are unable to take adequate care of themselves and keep
themselves from harm.
Question 2: (1.3) Analysis of the benefits of a person centred approach
In the heath and care organisation, person centred approach is very effective approach
which is very important in order to cater the needs and wants of the Denis and other customers.
Here Denis is feeling very frustrated and his is being collapsed at home with hypothermia
has a severe urine infection and a badly infected foot. He cannot walk and his diabetes,

As per the given scenario, it has been founded that resident has not had his epilepsy-
control drugs at all that day which have cause very big problem for the patient. This the very big
issues for the organisation, the care provides is not able to take care of the patient and this is the
reason the patient have skipped his medicines. Care providers have been very bad protecting the
patient, which should be not care. This activity can cause very bad impact over the heath of the
patient. Mr Arthur have noticed this activity third time, now he need to take very strict action
against the person who is liable for it. Further, it has been seen that service providers and experts
have insufficient knowledge or application of clinical care standards and protocol, there are lack
of effective supervision. Some training and development programs need be arranged by the
venture so that employees or care providers can take care of their patients, the activities are as
follows:
