INTRODUCTION
Social care is a working plan that used to build values for individual person who
experience their personal needs and special want. Social care is very different from social work
because it is used to build opportunities through social and emotional needs of individual person.
This project report is based on High Gate Care home which is working as a health care sector in
society (Knott and Scragg, 2016). This report will discussing about roles of non-direct care
workers, required skills for this work and role of non direct workers in the operation of team. At
last this report will representing maintaining safety, health and security in caring environment
and management and supervision in the development of non direct workers.
TASK 1
P1 Identify roles of non direct care employees
Non direct workers are indirect employees who provides specific services for caring
people. They mainly serve appropriate services in some organisations with their particular job.
Their role and function in services organisation is to carry out their goals and objectives in
appropriate manner. Role and responsibility of non-direct workers are not clearly determine in
social care sector but they play most important role to provides effective services easily. There
are different kind of roles are determine below that represent specific determination such as -
Office staff – They are kind of personality who do not appointed to provide specific and
direct services that related to organisation's core objectives. Their role and importance are very
must in organisation but they do not working in direct objectives. They are kind of supporter for
recruit employees.
Security staff – They are additionally recruited as non direct workers who provides
security services for building healthy and safety in specific place. They are working different
kind of working duration that requires to build safety and security easily. Their role in this work
is very vast that provide social care facility to every one (Shardlow, 2015).
Catering staff – Their role at working place is very special which provides catering
worker to specific requires. They work to provide quality food and build cleanness ate their work
place specifically.
