INTRODUCTION
Social care needs are defined as the method of providing people opportunities to maintain
their independence, enhance social interactions and enabling them to become a part of society. It
helps people to manage their daily activities along with making good relationship with others.
Social care plan is important to develop at workplace in order to make employees productive and
they could feel a sense of belonging (Hassard and et. al., 2018) . The following report explains
the needs and importance of Social care Improvement plan at workplace along with its
development.
MAIN BODY
Social care is defined as the process of providing emotional and physical support to
people in order to make their lives happy as well as healthier (Mills, Wand and Fraser, 2018).
According to my perspective social care is very important at workplace as it give space for
employees to put forward their opinions without any hesitation. At my workplace while
discussing with my colleagues it has been discovered that social care is important for company
as it helps in addressing problems related to health, safety and well-being of workers. By
improving the social care at workplace it could benefit the company in enhancing its financial,
social and performance factors. The need for improving social care is that it assist in
understanding the human behaviour and enhance interpersonal relationship among employees. It
is important to implement at workplace as employees there deals with depression, anxiety, bully,
work pressure, stress and many more issues which impact their mental along with physical
health.
Social care improvement plan helps in building a positive work culture environment at
workplace and also assist in developing interpersonal relationship among employees. It also
ensures that human rights and laws are being followed at an organisation. It provides employees
a work environment where employees could feel safe and secure to express themselves (Yi and
Kim, 2020). We analysed that by providing the social care to employees it will generate
motivation in them which will boost their confidence and they will be able to perform well at
work.
Social care is not just about executing values, ethics and knowledge about social
behaviour but it is also about developing a sense of socializing with others. It will also help

employees of company to improve their personal lives according to my opinion if individual will
face low pressure at work than they will get chance to spend more time with family. No person at
the workplace will get discriminated on the basis of caste, religion, gender, race, educational and
cultural background as they will be treated equally. Social care develops a sense of respect
among employees and also make them productive at workplace (Angouri, 2018).
The main objective of developing Social care Improvement plan at workplace is to create
a healthy and safe environment for employees. The people who are feeling stress, have some
disability or facing any issues could be helped by this plan. The care plan includes the factors
such as what is important for any individual to express in front of others or could analyse what
problems they are facing (Ding and et. al., 2020). The individual is advice to evaluate the issues
and analyse what they can do or identify how they can manage their stress. If the person is not
able to solve the situation by themselves than they can put forwards their trouble in front of their
seniors. While discussing this social care improvement plan we as a team decided that the
company should appoint a counsellor who can understand and apply more professional approach
at workplace.
The company will provide a peaceful space for employees where they can meditate, listen
to music, play games and could take break from their busy work at office. This will help them in
developing interpersonal relationship with others and reduce their stress. The weekly fun
activities will be organised at campus which will motivate employees to participate and could
build as team. The employees will be council by counsellor on weekly basis and would be asked
whether they are facing any issues or not in office. The mentor will be asked to take constant
feedbacks from their employees about what improvements they want in the office. The disabled
people will be provided with some help and support from seniors which would assist them in
doing their work more easily. Health insurance will be provided by company to every employee
to ensure the safety of their health.
The social care improvement plan is a best process to make an employee productive and
interactive. It will also help them in improving their skills and learn new talents by interacting
with others (Verniers and Vala, 2018). According to my opinion it is very important for
organisation to consider mental health of its employees as a major factor and take initiatives to
improve it. While discussing with my colleagues about Social care Improvement plan, we all
agreed upon the fact that we all will try to understand each other more better and start respecting

more. We will try to organise activities which could help us in understanding each others culture
by telling them to present their traditional ethics and enhance our knowledge about that.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion it has been evaluated that social care plays a vital role in
improving the physical and mental health of employees. It also helps in improving their
interpersonal relationships and enhance their productivity at work. It provides them an
opportunity to know several cultural backgrounds as they understand each other opinions. Social
care improvement plan could help an organisation in making their employees more interactive
and productive. This plan also helps in reducing stress among employees and increase their
personal and professional relationship. In the conclusion, it could be said that for every
organisation it is very essential to execute social care improvement plan which should provide
their employees safety and security.
