INTRODUCTION
Research skills is ability to find the answer of questions through proper evaluation and
interpreting about the topic in order to gather the informations about the topic (Ain, Sabir and
Willison, 2019). In this essay company is Tesco which is largest retail chain in UK and deals
with many products and services and has large costumer base and has more than 3 lakh
employees and more than 3400 stores. Social Cognitive theory is given by Albert Bandura that
emphasis on social interaction, experience and observing the behaviour of individual and impact
from external environment is being discuss. In this examining of factors from Bandura 's Social
Cognitive theory model that impact the organisation is being studied.

Bandura cognitive theory is social cognitive theory that deals with observing and
explanation the individual behaviour and help in determining the some factors that affect such as
Personal, environmental and behavioural aspects. In Tesco company these aspects impact in
following way-
Personal Factor are related with factor which include experiences, values, taste and preferences
of individual that impact the business of Tesco company:
Age is the factor which is more influenced while purchasing the products. People of
different age needs different product like the chocolates are liked by the age group of the
children most (Allison and et.al., 2016). As age is an important factor people of all age group
can prefer the TESCO market as all the things of all age groups are available at the store as
people do not have to move to other places for the purchase of the product.
Income is one of the factor that helps in determining the purchasing power of the
individual and have ability to spend the money. If the income of the people is high the
expenditure is also high in TESCO company the people can buy the products easily at the
affordable rates. They are mostly provide their products at reasonable price, so that every
costumer is able to make purchase from their store.
Lifestyle is an important factor which helps us in telling the individual interest, values,
opinions as in TESCO company the good are available easily according to the interest and the
preference. In UK there are almost costumer who follow high standard of living and maintain

their lifestyle in proper way, so this ensure the company to develop their product services and
providing the goods according the living standard of people.
Environmental Factors refers to uncertain and external factors in environment that impact
the business profit and they are not predicted by anyone in organisation and how they influence
the working of TESCO in certain way-
Climate change is a factor is the important factor as the change in the climate may also
shift the change of the people to other products As they prefer the product according to the
climate and that are not used in the other seasons (Bortnik and et.al., 2017). Climate change is
the major issue as people have to other product which helps in increasing the demand of that
product. In TESCO company the consumer can have the products according to their needs and
preferences. According to the seasons they will acquire the thinks which become easily available
in the TESCO company at the starting of the season only which make the increase in the profit in
future.
Resources is a factor can be used in a proper way so that there is no wastage of resource
in the future and can save the cost. Resource are very important as they are utilized from the
environment which may sometime cause harm to them. But utilizing them in a proper way
without wasting them may increase the chance of competition with the other competitive
supermarket chains (Guillén-Gámez and et.al., 2020). If resources are utilized in the proper
manner the cost of the products may also decreased which make the customers permanent for the
future they do not have to shift to other super market for the products. But the competitors some
time lays an heavy discounts on the products which make them shift. TESCO Company make
use of the resources in the proper manner and make available the goods according to the
requirement only which help the company to earn the profit in the future and get the better
results in comparison to the other competitors.
Capabilities is one other factor helps in influencing the capability of the firm to adapt the
changes in the near future. Capability includes the efforts done by the company to remain in the
market for the long run (Maddens and et.al., 2020). The company should have an capability to
take the risk in the future also because more the risk taken by the company more will be the
chance to remain in the company for the long run. The company should also have an capability
to understand the needs and demands of the product required by the customers and offering the
products to them which make the consumer not to shift to other stores. TESCO company have

ability to adapt the changes in the company and can provide the goods to the consumer according
to their tastes, needs and the preference (Hoffman and et.al., 2017). TESCO provides a confident
to the customer regarding the product and offer them product that are required so that TESCO
can always be the biggest supermarket company and offered all the services required by
customers.
Behavioural Factors- According to the Bandura's social cognitive theory it is used to
understand the importance of motivation level for completion of task with decided mental state.
This is analysed that observation define about various elements to leads the learning for
individual and it motivation which is used for managing all task according to states that is used
in completion of task with decided that enhance organisational perspective for learning different
strategies (Allison and et. al., 2016). Along with this the main motive of managing cost define
about all task through which work is managed in an appropriate manner. Along with this learning
perform an important role for organisation and it is because external as well as internal factors
define perspective through which more number of individuals are reinforced towards formulating
shapes that are desired towards completion of task with motive of implementing learning aspects
that improves the behaviour of individuals and aids organisation to accomplish organisational
goals and objectives in an accurate manner. Further, Bandura's social cognitive theory is
beneficial and supportive for analysing the external factors that not results towards implement of
individual learning. But there are different internal aspects also exists which leads to formulate
significant impacts on learning behaviour of individuals. Learning for a person not only leads
towards change in behaviour of individuals. Along with this theory generate factors by which
behavioural factors of organisational workforce is engaged. It is also determined that all
important as well as crucial factors aids towards generating environmental aspects which is
required by organisation for managing task that is used for managing work areas that conducts
towards focus on overall performance and potential task by which all task is engaged towards
understanding of behavioural aspects (Bortnik and et. al., 2017). This includes different elements
and it enhance about making focus that is used in managing task through which knowledge,
attitude and expectation. The term behaviour consists about making practices, skills and self-
efficacy. Along with this environment factor undertake all elements and its relation with external
environment like, social norms, influencing the community and accessing aspects that aids to
improve behaviour of individuals. In context of employee's this is identified by management that

Positive behaviour of workforce is focused towards implement of skills through which work is
managed for completion of task with adoption of similar attitude in order to perform work
towards goals and objectives that aids to improve decision-making of organisation.

important and essential fact and figures from the concern study and this skills is required to be in
