groups
Introduction
Ethnic inequalities in the health factors leads to impact the individuals from the black and
minority ethnic group that found quite poor and the criticism of people leads to impact their
health rather than white British Populations. Moreover, it has been evaluated that the ethnic
inequalities with the health factors leads to impact their health factors and overall health
conditions by undertaking the inequality factor which is being developed on the basis of
socioeconomic position and middle class, health service by undertaking the racial discrimination
(Bustamante-Zamora and Maizlish, 2017). Despite from this, the socioeconomic inequalities also
make minimal or no contribution to the ethnic inequalities with the health factors by finding
clear things among the poor self-rated health and limiting long term illness.
Research aim

Document Page
Evaluate the negative impact of social determinants on mental and physical health of
black Asian and minority ethnic groups?
Explain suitable ways for overcoming the negative impact faced by black Asian and
minority ethnic groups because of social determinants?
Scope and Rational of the research
The main reason of choosing this research is to analyse the impact of social determinants
on health of Black Asian and minority ethnic groups. As they are being influenced by various
factors including discrimination, race, ethnicity and so on by facing lot in regard of their survival
within the discriminatory world. Hence, it is useful for the research in order to gain knowledge
regarding the suitable steps which are useful to carry forward the suitable investigation.
Problem statement
The issue that arise among the people in regard of their survival with the discriminatory
world as they face discrimination and inequality on the basis of colour, gender, race and so on. In
this context, the solution of this issue is to provide equality to these individuals among various
people by conducting events and gathering every individual to the event.
Literature review
According to the viewpoint of Wells, (2018), The social determinants of health are
considered as the non-medical factors that leads to impact the health outcomes. For this, there are
suitable conditions that occur among individuals at the time of their birth, grow, live, age and so
on the other wider context in order to set the suitable forces and system in order to shape the
suitable conditions of daily life. In this context, these forces and system tends to undertake the
suitable economic policies and systems, social norms, social policies, development agendas and
political system (Hayanga, Kneale and Phoenix, 2020). Research shows that the social
determinants can be more important rather than health care for the lifestyle choices in order to
influence the health factors. Along with this, social determinants tend to put major impact on the
health results specifically for the most vulnerable populations like education factor of patients,
income level and environment that should be undertaken while given care and treatment (Suglia
and et. al., 2020).

Research methodology
Research methodology refers to the suitable concept that helps in collecting things and
effective data undertaking the specific topic. In this context, some of the approaches are
discussed as:
Research philosophy: It is the suitable process which is effectively applied while
gathering and evaluating details regarding the topic. For this, two philosophies are useful
like interpretivism and positivism and for this, the researcher consider positivism
philosophy in order to collect data and information (Islam and et. al., 2020). Along with
this, it is being facilitated by the researcher to collect several things and to evaluate data
by the quantitative method in given period of time.
Research approach: It is the main process to collect details with the help of inductive
and deductive approach. In regard of this, the main approaches are identified to analyse
the impact of social determinants on health of Black Asian and minority ethnic groups
and for this, researcher tends to use deductive approach to collect data by quantitative
details.
Research strategy: It is important for the researcher to collect data with effective
research strategy and for this, they use some suitable strategies like action research,
survey and so on. The researcher use survey method and the reason to select this strategy
as it easily offers details and information regarding the given period of time (Scott,
Britton and McLemore, 2019).
Research choice: It represent the two suitable options that are available for the researcher
considering qualitative and quantitative method as both are useful as the topic. But
researcher use quantitative method which is more valuable in order to collect details in
numerical manner (Marmot, 2020).
Sampling: This process is being used by various respondents from the total population by
considering the probability and non-probability sampling (Barbé and et. al., 2018). These
are the prominent techniques and probability sampling is effective which is being used by
the researcher. The main reason behind the selection of this strategy is to support large
sample.

Timeframe
It is the most essential factor in order to complete the project as the Gantt chart refers to the
graphical method of effective management of time which is being used in present investigation.
In regard of this, it is used to complete the research in given period of time and used by
researcher to analyse the starting and ending of research and its activities are mentioned as:
