Introduction
Research in a quantitative manner has been carried out to determine the social issues that
create an impact on the health of aboriginal people. Among the various research that has been
carried out to date, Australian aboriginal people and their health condition grab most of the light.
Australian aboriginal people are not been looked at and that they are socially kept at a distance
from the other population of the country. As stated by Gee et al. (2014), aboriginal people need
to be taken care of by the Government and other social institutions and needs to be treated
according to that of other populations. Along with social issues, it has also been found that most
of the people of aboriginal people suffer from psychological problems. In other research, it has
been found that due to the issues of racial discrimination and gap in communicating English
fluently these people are not given any kind of social space. These two research approaches are
far more relevant than those of the other.
Background of the Study
Aboriginal people right from the beginning has not been any kind of preference by the
Australian cultured people. At every Australian Day, aboriginal people of Australia make a
protest in the streets so that the Government must consider the way they have their living. Most
of the time it has been found that famous people of the Australian aboriginal community try to
develop a bridge between the “White Skin People” with that of the “Dark Skin People”.
According to Brutus, Aguinis and Wassmer (2013), although developments are tried from
different aspects still a social gap found to restrict that development in all possible ways.
Social disturbances not only create a gap among the entire population but it is making
health at a position of risk. Reports from the Government states that most of the Australian

young aboriginal population consume drink and smoke weeds at an early age. These affect not
only the young population but is destroying the population in an adverse manner. Aboriginal

companies do not allow the Australian aboriginal people as they are not so smart enough to
tackle any situation.
Reports are also there that states about the preference which is given mostly to the

been found that Australian companies with that of the foreign companies prefer to give white

parliamentary figure from the aboriginal origin no such developments have been done by the

The aim of the study is to find out the actual reasons for the social impact that affects the
aboriginal population of Australia at large.

Literature Review
Failed policies of the Australian Government
Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has stated that the Government is failing short
to help the indigenous people and give them the rights that have been their need. Among the
different failed policies of the Australian Government changing the instinctive title highlights the
most as this policy makes creates most of the problem among the Australian aboriginal people

Addiction to Drugs

According to reports most of the young Australian people are addicted to drugs and that
create problem in developing their career. About 96% of the young Australian Aboriginal people
are addicted to drugs with the other addicting things lower in number. According to Rickwood et
al. (2014), most of the young population are not educated in a proper way and that having the
frustration of not getting a job leads to the paths of addiction. Australian Government must take
this matter into consideration and look for the matter with attention.
Language problem
Australian Aboriginal people speak in more than 400 languages and that it becomes
tough for them to communicate fluently in English. People of Strait Island do not have much grip
in English. As a result of this most of the people who are enjoying the social freedom restrict
these people from entering the society at large. As opined by Alam and Imran (2015), most of
the aboriginal people in Australia are divided digitally by mainstream people. The language

The Stolen Generation is literally known as the racial discrimination of Australia where
white skin people are given more preference than the black or dark skin people. This inhuman
behavior from the white-skinned Australian started in 1890 and ended in 1970. In this
generation, most of the young Australian children are removed from their families more in a

According to reports, it is found that Australian aboriginal women are not treated well
and they are affected by different kinds of health issues. Overweight and Obese are the two main
problems among the Australian Aboriginal woman where the percentage rises up with age. As
opined by Chamberlain et al. (2014), most of the policies regarding health are developed
according to the problems of city women and that attention to these women is not given care.
Although the rate is 68% of normal health among the women, the rate found to decrease with the
rising age.

Identity crisis among the Australian Aboriginal people
In the present day it has been found that most of the Australian Aboriginal people are
suffering from the problems of an identity crisis. Most of the people are found to have a missing
link as they suffer the trauma of stolen generation. After that no initiative from the Government
has been taken and for that reason it has been found that most people suffer from the problem of
identity crisis. According to Romaine (2017), right now the Government is taking steps and only
gives the identity of aboriginal only to those people who are from Strait Island. In this case it has
been found that most of the people are not able to show their real identity as they are not able to
produce the link of their missing ancestor. Community acceptance although preferred by the
Government but having it really becomes tough.
Methodology
Data Collection Method
This study as developed on the social issues that impact the Australian aboriginal people
will depend mainly on the primary research method. According to Walter and Andersen (2013),
as the issue depends mostly on the social issues that affect the living of aboriginal people it is
essential to have a survey of the people than taking evidence from the journals as secondary
research items. The researcher in order to develop the research will take interviews of the
aboriginal people and try to find out the exact social causes that create a gap.
Data Analysis Method
Analysis of the data will be done by developing the taken answers into graphs and bars.
As primary quantitative data is taken for the research a pictorial view of the taken interview need
to be developed. As opined by Weerahandi (2013), the reason for developing a pictorial graph or

chart is to make people comprehend what percentage of agreeing to a certain question and what

Sample Size
The researcher in order to develop the research will use a probability sampling method.
500 Australian aboriginal people will be selected for developing the research. The researcher will
select those people from a large population. Simple random sampling will be used by the
research for the development of the research. The researcher will give each employee a chance in
an equal manner to be chosen. As opined by Bishop and Verleger (2013), if all the members of
the population are not given equal opportunity to state the problem they are facing then it will
not be possible to get the ultimate social issues. In this way, the researcher will get to know about

Ethical Issues
Ethics will be followed by the researcher in order to develop the research that has been

facing right the moment. The researcher makes sure that all the people will be approached and
