INTRODUCTION
This report provides detailed description on Princess Diana, a well known personality of
British who belongs to the royal family of UK. This Princess first wife of Charles, the prince of
Wales. Princess Diana holds an effective glamorous image within UK as well as international
market. Hobbies of Princess Diana include dance, music and sports (Aldrich and McCreery,
2018). All of these hobbies were admired by the localise people as well as other associated
people too. Diana was born in British nobility where her upbringing was done with the royal
family of Sandringham estate. After having interaction with the Prince of Wales she married to
him in the year 1981 and became Princess of Wales. The assignment includes detailed
description about two themes. The first theme includes information on migration and
globalisation, whereas another one specifies information social inequalities which have been
faced by the chosen personality in their surroundings.

Globalisation and Migration
Globalisation is referred to as the integration of government, people, businesses and
economies across the national boundaries with the personal motive of accomplishing mutual
benefits. Apart from this, when it is emphasised on the migrants it can be said that movement of
people from one position to another one so that they can stay at new position and locate for
permanent and temporarily basis. It can be said that at the earlier stage people used to migrate
with the motive of the attaining food and better lifestyle. With the passing period of time, it has
been observed that individuals are now a day’s migrate in order to attain high level of success at
new places so that they can accomplish best lifestyle.
In context of Princess Diana of Wales, it can be said that the respective lady belongs
Glamorous diva at international scale. This lady was highly fond of travelling as she loved to
travel different places so that she can explore its beauty. After getting married to the Prince of
Wales, Diana soon started exploring places with Charles (Buda, 2019). It has been later analysed
that all the travelling purpose was not only associated with the personal motive but many a times
travel reason was associated with executing her responsibilities or duties which are associated
with the social well fare. The first and foremost trip of Diana with Charles was international trip

to New Zealand and Australia in the year 1983. During this visit, the respective personality has
developed her strong connection with the common people as they had indulged into direct
interaction with the normal people so that her own knowledge could get enhanced regarding their
problems as well as personal interests. This interaction with the common people has developed
better relation of the princess with the local people and also made them frank with the princess
so that they can easily share their issues and problems with her freely. Constant based
international trips has enhanced the knowledge of Princess Diana about the current situation of
the localise people (Aleksandra, 2016). However, it has been observed that the lady was initially
not feeling comfortable at her international trips as all the things were completely new for her,
but with the passing period of time, the renowned personality has started accepting the same.
With the constant number of trips the lady started enjoying her each and every trip. The
enjoyment experienced by the Princess Diana in the form of happiness can be seen on her
pictures. One of the most remarkable trips of Princess Diana from Egypt and Argentina was
highly effective as she has shined a lot in her pictures. The lady makes use of sweet gestures like
shaking hands, smiling and greeting. Moreover, it can be said that after getting divorced with
Charles, the constant international trips of the lady has not yet stopped. Rather than this Princess
has increased number of its trips and also indulged her activities into social activities. These
social working activities has helped the Princess Diana in developing her positive social image
and also contributed a lot in developing informal and open behaviour with the localise people
(Davies, 2015).
On the basis of overall information expressed regarding the Princess Diana and her
international trips, it has been analysed initially the trips were organised with the motive of
personal interest but with the passing period of time the motive changed towards the social work
which included her royal duties too.
Social Inequality
Princess Diana can be acknowledged to be an avid public personality who had experiences of
social inequality in several contexts. An account of her overall experience comprising of all of
these is given afterwards. Princess Diana was known to be a strong global icon, who was
recognised at that time and today too by every individual. The experiences which she underwent
in her life majorly shaped her personality and helped her in later becoming the famous public

personality. These experiences turned her into a strong woman. Since the time of her childhood,
she experienced bitter experiences initiating from the divorce proceedings of her parents while
she was only 7 to loss of the custody by her mother. Thus, she was in the custody of her father
which made her have several adverse circumstances (Laxdal, 2016). By facing crucial
experiences since the start, Diana became accustomed to such routine of the life. This somehow
instilled a sense of rigidness as well as strength within the person leading her to become a person
who was not moved by any of the worse situations that she faced in her whole life. In addition to
this, it was her dream as well as desire, to become a good wife. On the contrary, she gave divorce
to Prince Charles. This situation had a major influence on the mindset of Princess Diana. Such
kind of experiences made her lose her innocence as well as vulnerability from a very early age.
Opposed to her experiences up until her marriage, she was quite different as a mother (Bigdeli
and et. al., 2016). It was seen that she was very strong being a mother. She never wanted her
children to go through the same difficulties that she underwent in her life. She was desirous of
seeing them turn into stronger personalities who can take a stand for themselves and face the
hardships of life as they come. She took every measure possible in order to make sure that her
two children were shaped and moulded in a way such that they became matured adults in the
long run. Princess Diana was often seen to be resisting royal protocol when it came down to her
children (Syahrina, 2019). She was severely devoted to her children and taught them to give
respect to diversity and experiences that life throw at them. She was always ready to fight for her
sons at any scale so as to ensure that they as humans reach their true potential and become strong
personalities.
Princess Diana was married to Charles, Prince of Wales. The overall wedding of Diana and
Charles was like fairy tale which was appreciated all the surrounding people. Apart from this,
Princess got divorced with Charles in the year 1992. According to Diana, reason behind her
divorce was affair of the Charles with another lady named Lady Camila Parker-Bowles which
got started soon after her marriage with Diana. In an interview, Diana itself has revealed that
after knowing about affair of husband, she has also started indulging into many extra martial
affairs including Captain Hewitt which was adored by her.
Sociological imagination of princess Diana facilitated her to understand debates in
contemporary societies. She was having good sociological imagination due to which she was
able to analyse all the debates in the contemporary societies and it facilitated her to analyse the

questions which can compare the competing viewpoints on a specific issue. It also facilitated her
to identify the key points of various types of arguments and apply them on the subjective of
sociological aspects.
In current era different types of sociological issues are taking place which are influencing
the citizens within the society. Some of the main issues that are emerging includes poverty,
homelessness, smoking, transportation, alcohol uses etc. Due to all of them standard of living of
all the individuals is getting impacted which is resulting in negative impacts upon the life of
people. Apart from this, most of the individuals are dealing with the issues related to
homelessness and unfulfilled basic needs. By paying attention towards resolution of these issues
it will be very easy for legal authorities of the nations to improve lives of all the individuals. The
knowledge of Princess Diana was very good regarding sociological debate that helped her to
determine the ways in which all the issues could be dealt in systematic manner.
CONCLUSION
In accordance with the discussion done above, it can be comprehensively inferred that the
life experiences of an individual play a great and crucial role in shaping their overall personality
in the long run. Whereby an individual is exposed to adverse situations from the very beginning,
they get accustomed to them and thereby develop a sense of resistance within themselves
towards the issues. Thus, their strong personalities do not let them get affected by the adversities
that take place in their lives. Princess Diana is one of the most renowned public personalities
who experienced several hardships in her life and most of them helped her in turning her
personality into a strong and matured individual. Belonging to the royal family and having a
royal history, she experienced instances which were contrary to the expected ones.
