PART 1
Social influence refers to a process in which an individual belief attitude and behavior get
modified due to the presence or action of another individual. This can include for a different area
of compliance, conformity and minority influence (Gili et. al., (2019)). This can also influence
due to change in individual feelings, thought and behavior that can cause due to other people.
Sociology is important because it help individual to apply in their life which can be helpful in
changing behavior and help in managing relationship in better ways that can allow to get better
and effective change in the social life. Here, it includes different impact on the society whwer
social worker should apply those in improve quality of society through influencing some changes
within behavior (Buhalis et. al., (2019)).
There is a social influence on an individual which can have a high impact to change
individuals thinking behavior beliefs and attitudes. Sociology refers to the study of social life,
social causes, social change and consequences of human behavior. Sociology can enable social
worker to understand their social responsibility as an individual that can create change
(Calderón‐Larrañaga et. al., (2019)). When any social worker need to provide some help nad
support to individual with some basic need reagarding either support in healing with any type of
trauma or diseases, then they are not only help and spport in fighting with those sickness but also
help in improving their quality of life. This can also enable individuals life through
understanding their behavior, their relationships and the adaptation of different people who work
in social care community. Through providing care services, sociology for their practices provide
an important role in influencing individuals behavior in adapting better influence that can
improve their quality of life. There are various agents of socialization which may include peers
and media (Merrem et. al., (2018)). These are some of the specific socialization that can
influence. Peers plays an important agent in socialization which can influence individual who are
using care services. They are the one who can provide positive aspect in an individual life that
can help to improve their quality of life. It can also enable them to provide better well-being
through communicating and getting together. Media is also an agent in socialization for
influencing individuals who are using care services. They can also provide positive and negative
impacts on the individual were due to taking positive information. Through media, it can enable
individuals to get the improvement in their life and also improve their wellbeing and quality of
life (Mishra et. al., (2018)).

Functionalism refer to a theory which imlies to nature of mental state. It can also identify
by what they do instead of what they are made of. It also have the perspective of sociology
where society is interdependent and contributes for stability and functioning.
Feminism refers to a belief in economic, social and political equality for women (Badura
et. al., (2018)). This has large areas where there are various restrictions for women instead of
men which create the situation of feminism which has global manifestation and variation.
Marxism refers to political, social and economic philosophy that examines the effect of
capitalism on labor, economic development, productivity and argues for worker revolution in
favour of communism (Ormerod, (2020)). Here, society class cause on the basis of struggle
where society should not have any classes. It can also define as when private owernship get
change in co-operative ownership.
In this feminism can play an important role in social influencing to the individual that can
influence a large number of population to fight for equal rights of women like a man.

The impact of social influence on the last changes of an individual. In this, feminism
theory and sociological theory can help to understand discrimination. This includes treating any
person or group worse than others (Braedley & Luxton, (2021)). Prejudice includes having
negative attitude which occurs due to preconceived opinion and are not baed on the actual
experience or reason. In this, it can also relate to stereotyping which is idea where many people
think about a group that is untrue or only partially true. This is the one with can relate switch
discrimination within the individual. Prejudice is also related to discrimination which implies an
individual makes an unreasonable feeling of not liking or trusting anyone. Discrimination can the
based on religion, sex, race or any other. Discrimination is related to stereotypes and prejudice
based on partiality due to different factors of socialization. This also includes the family, peers or
media. For example- When a family member tell something bad like black people are not good
and can harm. Here, children learn the prejudice regarding black people (Tsai et. al., (2020)).
Due to these learning and getting information from their family they make stereotype regarding
black people which create any unnecessary influence about black people that may be true or
maybe not true. So, through this, they may learn about prejudice.
There is a higher chance to being prejudiced when parents also possess this. It can also
create an opinion that is passed to the next generation from any person or a particular group that

can impact individual belief about something (Remedios et. al., (2018)). So, it can be said that
there is chance of getting different opinion that prejudice can also be learned by family.
Social influence has high impact and can life chances of an individual who is using care
services. Individuals may face barrier to assessing services when an individual has no
information or idea regarding accessing the services. This influence individual to tackle about the
barrier and ensure that they acquired to access the services. This can influence any individual or
large population to access the information which can enable individual to use those to get better
care services which are associated with delivery of better social care.
While delivering social care to patient with physical and mental health problmes it has
been learned about the delivery of better services which should be delivered in the social care
services. Here, through using the practices of social work, it influences the effectiveness of
learning through using better and effective response. Here, social influence is reagarding
discrinmiantion on different basic which is highly effective and allow to get better and effective
response towards the delivery of different respone towards the social work services. It can also
be learned through the society, service user and many more. Here, due to continuous facing such
type of discrimation and going through watching differtn services user regarding discrimination
due to any reason. It also impact on psychology and leads to create the risk of getting chances of
influence through those activity and have the perception which are based on the those experience
which influence the service delivery during social work.
When an individual is having the limited opportunity in employment. Then in such case
social influence can be highly effective and can create high impact on the life-changing of the
individual, service user or care user (Albarello et. al., (2018)). Providing some information and
providing support can help care user to change in their belief and their understanding. It can also
motivate individuals that can create change in their behavior to learn some new skills and
techniques that can be effective and provide a high opportunity in employment. This can be
effective and implementing the social influence can have high impact on individual life changes.
TASK 3
Advertising campaign and campaign for rights and social justice are two of the actions
which has improved life changes for an individual who is using care services.
Through advertising campaigns, there are a large number of individuals who got the
information about the care services which can be effective and can use by them. When they have

proper information about access to the care services (Albarello et. al., (2018)). Through
advertising the campaigns, it can enable a large number of the population to get information
about the campaign which can allow them to take participate in the campaign which can be
effective and provide a large number of information that can help to improve the life chances of
an individual.
Campaign for rights and Social Justice allows large number of populations to understand
their rights and the Social Justice which can influence them to implement and regulate to
improve their quality of life and wellbeing. It is also effective to improve the life chances of an
individual who are using care services (Balaban et. al., (2019)). For example- any individual who
don't have information and knowledge about rights and Social justice then in such case, they may
not get proper care services and may face discrimination related with stereotyping or prejudice.
Both of the actions like advertising campaigns and campaigns for rights and Social
Justice can be effective and have high impact that can influence an individual to improve their
life changes. To receive quality care services which can also influence them to apply to practices
that can enable improve the quality of life and well-being. It can also improve their life changes
who are using care services (Sanne et. al., (2018)).
