Why is it important for us to write about social issues?
It’s because through social issues we can be able to learn about people’s problem and
experiences. This will help in finding solution to their problems in our current life, the problems
are reflected in the struggles people go through to achieve their goals.

It reflects upon the lives of people and this educates those who will go through my work
as they can learn how they can deal with their problems. My research has gone deep into
analyzing how to deal with this problems including the impacts.
Remind your class about your community.
Our community is comprised of blacks who tries to earn a living from their daily work
but hindered by the unfair treatment from the other races due to their perceived superiority. They

Explain how Hughes word related to you?
Hughes talks about racial inequality which exist in our community as everyone is not
accorded equal treatment because of their race (Hughes, 1947). Social injustice has been

this basis.
Reasons why I have responsibility to my community.
My aim is to intervene in the ongoing problems facing my community at large due to
certain aspects of my personal life that motivates me.
