INTRODUCTION
Social marginalisation is defined as social disadvantage in which blocking of various
rights are taking place. The output of social exclusion can be affected by society and
communities and in this manner communities within society. The concept of social exclusion is
something which is curse to the society and to people as well which is giving negative impact as
well to defining needs of varied societal people (Hayday and Collison, 2020). Besides this social
exclusion may provide negative results to the society in context of refectory culture,
compensation is the dimension which is to be fulfilled by playing significant role in society.
Example of women exclusion is associated with not valuing work and this may have negative
implication over opportunities. This report includes discrimination, marginalisation and poverty.

Critically appraise groups who are at risk of discrimination, marginalisation and/or exclusion
There are varied groups existed which are associated with the risk of discrimination,
marginality and exclusion. Discrimination is defined as the act in which unjustified actions and
undertakings are taking place which implicate the society in negative manner. There are various
bases of discrimination such as race, gender, sexual orientation and other categories. Children
with special learning needs are a given legal definition for children with learning disabilities.
These are children those are facing problem of discrimination within society and due to this they
face problems in their survival and existence. Besides this children with poverty are the children
those are facing poverty within their childhood and to this it is very difficult for them to meet
their daily needs and subsist routine activities. Risk of exclusion is the prior within society and
children with special earning abilities are facing prominent issues in dealing with exclusion and
discrimination (Daher, Leonora and Gamuzza, 2019).
Example of barriers for children from poverty
Children those are living in poverty they may face major barrier of accessing of education
and this the major reason that they are not able to learn things in effective manner. Along with
this there are other barriers such as language, reliance and child labour. These are the reasons due
to which children with poverty cannot come out from poverty and attain those advantages which
are privileged for. Some of the major barriers are elaborated as under:

Social mobility is defined as movement which is exerted by individual, household and
families in order to change social status with their own location and status. In other words social
mobility is defined as the aspect in which movement takes place in respect of social hierarchy
and change in position. Social mobility is treated as the barrier for children with poverty as they
cannot move in vertical and upwards manner due to which they do not find ways through which
they can come out from poverty (Di Marco et. al., 2017).
Can’t afford better education
In current time education is playing effective role in developing people and society in
prominent manner. In this aspect education is the factor which may bring change in society and
perception of people. Besides this in current time private educational facilities are costly due to
which it can't be afforded by children facing poverty. This is the major reason that children are
facing barrier from coming out to the barrier of poverty.
Example of barriers for children with special educational needs
Children with special education needs are the people those are facing difficulties in
understanding things and they are mentally retarded. So legally special educational needs
children are the aspect which is a given term to these people. There are various barriers which
are being faced by these children and this is the reason that they cannot deal with their
disabilities and face problems as well. Some of these challenges are elaborated as under:
Lack of space
Lack of space is one of the major barrier which is being faced by children with special
learning needs as they need space to learn things and this is not easier that they can access place
wherever they want to. In this aspect barriers are inhaled by children and they face complexities
in dealing with their disabilities.
Funds and understanding for students to have inclusive education
Inclusive eduction is something which is associated with various aspects such as
introduction of diversity, understanding needs of students and many more other aspects. For
children with special learning needs they require inclusive learning so that to change style of
learning as according to their need of learning and understanding (Pushkarenko, Dunn and
Wohlers, 2020). These practices require high amount of funds due to which this is not possible
for every children to attain the same in prominent manner.

In order to promote social justice within education sector towards children policies that is
to be used is Equality act 2010 and discrimination laws these laws helps in making various kinds
of opportunities to be generated that promotes equality with more effectiveness. Also the policies
and law has been making balance to be created within education sector of UK. As this is going
to boost education campaign at both local and global level (Hellman et.al., 2018). Under the
Equity act 2010 makes sure that every person is been treated with equality and sincerity. The act
helps in providing education to all class children without taking into consideration there age, sex,
cast or religion. As per equity act 2010 everyone should be provided with basic facilities of
education and for this purpose only local campaign is been launched by UK government. As per
the view point of various critique the act is bale to bring stability within educational department
of UK. These laws has made sure that every individual in UK gets there right to education
without any discrimination against them. Through these laws UNSCEO is able to maintain its
agenda of right to education within UK.

sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership and pregnancy and maternity. These acts plays
very important role in making every children in England get right to education with fundamental
importance of it in there life (Pratt, 2019). This right has made education to be done properly
within the youngsters and children within the age group of 0-25. Also it helps in ensuring
children to attain there full potential value by making sure that well-being is done towards
children in society. Both the acts has been acting as base for national and international campaign
to be promoted within UK. These act has made UK government to initiate certain regulations
which has made education to be more possibly promoted within UK through introducing equality
within it.
National law like equity act and right to equality goes hand in hand with each other that
makes education institute to be punished in strict manner if any kind of discrimination is been

There are various ways by which social justice can be promoted for those people who are

This is the most significant which can be used by these people in order to promote social
justice. Under this people come forward as volunteers and this leads to create awareness
regarding social justice. This is the reason where people try to help each other for the major
purpose of removing discrimination and marginalisation (Heng, Quinlivan and du Plessis,
2019). This can be said that volunteering is the best for social awareness and to include people in
programs in order to spread collectivisms and risk of discrimination.
Take action in your community
All these barriers are associated with community and by involving communities in the
program of action this can be said that in order to eradicate social issues. There are various social
programs that could be initiated by people in order to minimise impact of discrimination over

children with special educational needs and children from poverty there is more need to promote
the diversity and inclusion in them. As, in schools there is large need to promote the diversity of
students and give them sense of being inclusive that they are important part of system regardless
of differences in gender, socio cultural etc. factors of differentiation being faced. The children

The children with poverty also need to be valued of their contributions in economy which is
being lacked. The inclusive education can be promoted to bring integrity in school. The
inclusive system refers to the admission of students in neighbourhood schools without following
or judging any discrimination and indifference to them. To make this practice effective there
needs to be proper technologies, facilities and proficient staff to deal with every type of student

the trained staff and time taken by students with extra learning’s needs is little more which may
lead to lack of interest of other students. Another approach is organisation of various awareness
campaigns to aware the society to no follow any discrimination. The discrimination on basis of
caste, poverty, disability etc. factors are not promoted by any law, rules, country and religion.
Every country promotes the justice and equality to its entire people. Therefore, the added
benefits of diverse and inclusive people in economy leads to more economic development of
economy because of the contribution made by different people of economy. When the different
sections of people are being valued and treated with equality it instils the sense of nationality
which results in maintenance of peace and justice among people. When the people of nation are
being treated with fairness and equality it promotes the hub of innovation and creative people
which results in development of new sectors and business. This all leads to development of
overall nation promoting justice and equality among people (Whelan, McGuinness and Delaney,
2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above report this can be summarised that there are different groups existed
within society and they are having their own needs and requirements. Children with special
learning needs and children with poverty are the two major groups which are existed and they are
facing various barriers due to which they can't deal with implicated problems. Social justice is
one of the dimensions of the society which is encouraging social balance and compatibility over
the society. In this manner this is necessary that vulnerabilities within society are required to be
examined so that to minimise negative impact of the same. There are two major challenges
existed within the society one is to provide resources to children with special learning needs and
the other one is poverty. These two elements are required to be eradicated so that to provide
equal rights to all the living people and to provide equivalent opportunities to them as well.
