INTRODUCTION
Social justice is the relation of balance between individuals and society measured by
comparing distribution of wealth differences, from personal liberties to fair privilege
opportunities. It has been analysed that it is really necessary to provide social justice. There are
also various factors which can affect social justice. Present report will lay emphasis on
describing social constructions of race, gender, and class (and dis/ability where applicable) in
relation to power and inequality. It will also Discuss the concepts social justice, exclusion and
belonging within a community context.
COURSEWORK ONE
Describe social constructions of race, gender, and class in relation to power and inequality
Race, gender and class can cause inequality and there are chances that there is an unequal
distribution of power. Social injustice can also exist because person is disabled. Some of the
individual can face inequality because of race. They are being considered lower. There is also
inequality between gender like male and female (Matthew, 2017). In certain cases, males are
being given more chances than females. Equal opportunities are not being provided to females
because of which they are unable to grow. The society is being built on these concepts and there
are various areas of world where social injustice exists. Social construction of disability comes
from the idea that society thinks about some individuals and community differently and the
power structures are being grounded in society any time. It has also been analysed that in this
social construct, poor people are also not being given equal chances and value.
Ideas surrounding disability comes from society thoughts about a particular community.
The gender roles are also being socially construct. The racial inequality exists in all parts of
world. In this black are considered lower and white are considered as upper. These people are not
provided with equal rights and lives in totally disguised situations. Race cannot be considered as
biological in-fact it is socially constructed. Racial classification is becoming constant across
boundaries. In a society white is been considered as high class for social economic background
and the other colours are considered as inferior from them. This increases their power and they
dominate other people in society. It also gives rise to inequality and because of this other people
live in situation of deprivation. In order to lower down social injustice various legislations are

also being implemented for this. It has also been evaluated that power and inequality is also
increasing the level of aggression among people. Because of social injustice they live in poverty
and also various type of abuse is been faced by them. Inequalities’ and inequities are built up into
social system and it is really challenging to change this situation. In this people are deprived of
basic amenities as people in power to not led to give better opportunities to people with lower
class. This is the reason that there is also unequal distribution of income. Poor are becoming poor
and also rich are becoming rich. This has led to unequal structure in society. In this better
education also needs to be provided to disabled people. They must be given with equal chances
so that their talent also comes out.

There are various factors related to social issues based on race which can affect young
people. In this there are chances that because of racial discrimination young people are not
provided with better opportunities and because of this they live in situation of deprivation. There
are chances that government policy can become one of the major factor for developing social
injustice (Ahmad and Shi, 2017). This leads to increase in inequality and also fair access to
services and education because of race is not been given to young people. It has also been
analysed the fair access of opportunity does not include the disability concerns. In this it has
been evaluated that better services should also be provided to those who are disabled and young
instead of their race, background and colour.
The other factor which gives rise to inequality on basis of race is perception and attitude
of people over certain communities. This gives rise to racial discrimination and also because of
this young people are not provided with fair opportunities. Moreover, it can be said that society
must not only provide a robust form of equal opportunity and limit inequalities to those who
benefit and support the least advantaged. In this the young people from different race,
consideration must also be given to them. This will assist in making sure that social justice is
been provided (Krieger, 2016). The other factor which gives rise to this social issue includes that
some people wanted to be in power always, so they create this environment where other people
are not provided with equal opportunities. This makes difficult for young people to settle down
in this environment. It increases racial discrimination and because of which young people
become more stressed and anxious. There are also various rewards bias and this is giving rise to
rates of poverty. Being pressed by race, they are also not being provided with better

The concept of social justice related to race gender and class is that equal chances needs to
be given irrespective of person colour, background, religion, disability and class. If this is not
being given, then it can lay severe impact on the development of an individual. They might live
in deprivation and also in situation of poverty. The inequality in society can also give rise to
various type of abuse. Equal and fair access to services are not been provided in social injustice.
Some people are being excluded from the better services because of their religion, culture, belief
and race. In United Kingdom there are so many people who have become victim of
discrimination because of their race. There white people are considered of upper class and black
of lower and this is the reason which gives rise to inequality in society or any community. Power
inequality is a bigger problem. It can give rise to rich poor conflicts. In this the poor are been
considered lower and rich are taken has higher. All the opportunities are being given to them.
There are various children, young people and adults who become victim of this exclusion.
Higher rates of health and social problem can also be faced when there is social injustice.
There are chances that young people are not also been provided with equal access to health
and services because of their race (Bañales and et.al., 2019). This can increase their frustration
level and also because of this reason they can also become victim of so many type of abuses.
Power inequality can also lower down the educational performance of poor as better
opportunities are not been provided to them. All the opportunities are only being given to rich
and the poor are being excluded. This can also happen because of racial discrimination faced by
them. One of the main reason because of which social injustice exists is the attitude of people
towards others. This assist in developing inequality and also no better opportunities are being
given to those people who become victim of same. Poor people abused of racial discrimination
are also boycotted from the equal educational opportunities. They are also not being provided
with better resources so that they can grow and also because of this behaviour, young people and
children can more depressed and anxious. It can also lead to inequality and social injustice in
society and no equal opportunity is provided. Social justice can be defined as relation of balance
between people and society that is measured by comparing distribution of wealth and other

differences. It is a process of making sure that all people in societies are fulfilling their societal
roles and are receiving what was their due from society. It means that fair and equal access to
services must be given.
Role of at least one educator, organisation, or government
There are various policies which is being implemented by United Kingdom government for
reducing down social injustice. They have used equality act in which equal opportunities needs
to be provided to everyone irrespective of their colour, race religion and language. This has
assisted them in implementing culture of equality United Kingdom parliament has been engaged
in making sure that fair and equal access to services are been given to everyone. This has assisted
them in making sure that culture of equality and fairness exists (De Costa, 2020). This has also
assisted them in lowering down the cases of abuse which usually happens because of inequality
in income. This act was being developed in order to make sure that citizens of country are
satisfied and also to ensure that white people are not considered upper and black people lower.
This has assisted the government in making sure that better culture exists in country. This act has
also led to lowering down of the crime cases because of racial discrimination. It has also assisted
in covering up the poverty rate which was really high. It was also being implemented in order to
provide better opportunities to every individual which is living in the country. Various
organisation is also being involved in developing a culture of equality (Abman and et.al., 2020).
In this they have made sure that better opportunities are been given to everyone whether
they are male and female. Various policies are also being made inside the organisation. This has
led to better culture inside company. It has also been analysed that because of implementation of
equality act the cases of crime and white supressing black has also been lower down. This has
assisted in ensuring that fair access to services are been provided to everyone. This has led to
lowering down the cases of social injustice. It has also been analysed that element which gives
rise to inequality on basis of race is perception and attitude of people over certain communities.
This gives rise to racial discrimination and also because of this young people are not provided
with fair opportunities. No discrimination is to be done in society or any community. In the
context of race, gender and class it can be said that these are interlocking categories of
experience that affect all aspects of life in critical manner. Social class and social justice affect
all race, gender and class.

CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been summarised that social injustice exists in so many parts of
world. It is one of the main reason for the racial inequality exists in all parts of world. In this
black are considered lower and white are considered as upper. These people are not provided
with equal rights and lives in totally disguised situations. Race cannot be considered as
biological in-fact it is socially constructed. It has been analysed that because of racial
discrimination, no equal opportunities are being given and this can give rise to increase in stress
and anxiousness of young people.
It has also been analysed that people are deprived of basic amenities as people in power to
not led to give better opportunities to people with lower class. It has also been evaluated that
government of UK has implemented the equality act, it means that they have made sure to
provide equal opportunities to everyone who lives in their country. They have also implemented
this act so that discrimination can be lower down. This has assisted in making sure that better
opportunities are been given.
