Social media broad casting is a new way for reaching to the large number of audiences. It
defines the broadcasting of the media like picture, video and audio or nay form of media to the
targeted audience through the use of the social media. It merges the two technology that is social
media and the live broadcasting. The social media broadcasting has been largely used by the
marketers and the organizations for the promotion of the business. It is also helping the
organizations to understand the current situations of the market. Currently, it has been seen that
many entertainment channels and the creative artist are also using the social media broad casting
to reach the people. The choice of viewer are changing rapidly. It has been seen that the content
broadcasting through the social are getting more vies and reaching to the more numbers of
audiences in a short span of time. The broadcasting through the social media can be of different
types. It can be a live broad cast. The main feature of the social media broadcasting is that the
live broadcasting through the social media can capture the instant reaction of the audiences in a
real time mode. The broadcast of the media can contain the pre recorded video clips. In this case,
the viewers can comment about the shared media. The main advantage of the social media broad
casting is that the targeted audiences and the time of broadcast can be controlled by the user of
the social media broadcaster.

However, it has been seen that the organization has realized the issues of the social media
broadcasting upon the young generations. The concern is related to the use of the social media

and the accessing the broadcast. It has been seen that boys and girls from the early teenage are
enhancing the effectiveness of the false information through the social media broadcasting. They
are becoming the part of the promotion of the wrong information indirectly. On the other hand
the young adults are mistakenly and accidently provides the personal information in the social
media, which causes the security risks. Apart from that the young people are facing the badness
of the cyber bullying and the cyber harassment.
2. Social media broadcasting issues faced by Non-traditional broadcasters in
Malaysia:
Some of the non traditional broadcasters are also using the online broadcasting through
the social media. In this case , sometimes it has been seen that they are choosing the target
audience unintelligently. This makes the broadcasting of the wrong media to the audiences who
are not interested about that media. Apart from that most of the media contents are irrelevant and
not promoting the vague information which are misleading the people. People are spending
much time watching the irrelevant contents. The non traditional broadcasters are not controlled
by any centralized authority so in many cases there are lack of authenticity in the information of
the contents.

3. Issues faced while answering the question
This report depicts the issues that are widely faced by the non-traditional broadcasting in
Malaysia and the young audience. In order to identify the issue that company that has been
nominated is Maxis Communication. The Maxis communication company was established in the
year of 1993 and the head quarter of the company is in Maxis Tower, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
The maximum signal strength served by the company is round -110dB in the Klang Valley
across all the states of the country. Not only this but also the company serves 88% of 4G
population coverage with a minimum length of signal of -110dB.
The network of the company is distributed throughout the country and frequency also
varies a lot. It is the role of the owner or the executives to distribute the network in such a way so
that the broadcasting level issues that the stakeholders are continuously facing can be resolved
accordingly.
The majority stakeholders of the company are part of the ananda Krishna’s business
empire. The first three satellites of the company are launched by the company in the year of
1996. However, the forth satellite of the company was damaged while launch thus it required to
be reconstructed by the developers. The real time streaming service, VOD for the broadcasting
and the VOD for the broadcasting are not clearly represented, thus issues were faced while
answering this question. Apart from this, the net revenue of the company is 8.2 Billion/year. The
majority and the total income of the company are 1.640 Billion.
4. It is the role of the agents to broadcast individual issues that the stakeholders are
