The presence of social media should not be considered by the employers while
making decisions regarding career because the profiles that are given on social media does
not have all the information about the qualification or the expertise of a person. The
employers should not take decision by the profiles of social media such as linked in regarding
the career because it can does not tell the employers about the expertise of the person
(Bridgstock, 2019). The employers must interview the person face to face regarding the
careers.
The social media presence is important for an individual but so much of presence in
the social media is not good. My social media is good and i have put all the relevant
information those are required for the job. The impressions that the employers will gain from
the social media is that my profile is good enough to get a job in a company and the employer
will have this information by seeing the social media. The online presence can be made
professional by putting a CV in the social media so that the employers can see the Curriculum
Vitae in the profile.
Online presence is necessary is required for the professional success because more
good the profile more will be the opportunities from the employers and the person will get
more number of job interviews from the various employers (McCabe, 2017). The person
must update the profiles on social media so that the employers can see them.
