researcher has selected the present topic.

high demand as it helps individuals and organisation to promote a product or service in

RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES
There are various types of research tools and methods used in an examination such as
Research design, data collection method, sampling etc, which are essential to achieve the aim
and objectives every research. The different kinds of research methodologies that will be used in
the present research are described as below -
Research approach- Research approach allows to researcher in understanding the actual
objective of research and conducts the investigation in more accurate and appropriate
manner. There are two major types of approach, inductive and deductive. In the present
study, scholar will apply deductive research approach to examine the impact of social
media on the advertising activities within retail industry.
Research Philosophy- Research philosophy assist to scholar in addressing the research
issue by applying various concepts, theories and framework. In the present study, scholar
will apply positivism research philosophy through which actual information will
systematically analyse for address objective.
Data collection- Data collection provides the information to researcher regarding the
subject. There are main two kinds of data collection that is primary and secondary. For
analyse the impact of social media on the adverting, researcher will use both primary and
secondary data collection. In the primary data collection, survey will conduct and
secondary data will use in Literature review part.
Research Technique- Qualitative and quantitative are two main research techniques in
research methodology. Scholar will use qualitative research technique under which
information will gather from survey method. It is a primarily exploratory research
Sampling- This is another important method in the research methodology through which
some group of people select from entire population. Researcher will apply random
sampling method under which 25 respondents will select.
