The term social media marketing is one of the effective marketing strategy in recent
time and it is observed that, most of the companies in this world are using this social media
marketing technique as a part of their marketing strategy. The use of social media and
websites for endorsing the products of a particular company generally is referred to as social
media marketing. There are various social networking sites that are recently used as a
marketing tools in recent time (Tuten and Solomon 2017). In this report, the current scenario
of social media marketing, problem of this marketing process, recommended solutions and
various ways of achieving those solutions are described in a brief manner.

In recent time, with the advancement of the technology, the use of the social media in
the marketing process has become very popular. However, it is very important to choose the
right social media platform for the marketing of the particular product. It is observed that, a
person almost spends two hours every day in the social media platform. Commonly, a few
social media platform such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp, YouTube are used as
social media marketing tools. The use of social media has greatly change the business of e-
commerce platforms. In recent times, the social media platforms are used as area of product
promotion. Those platforms are used to add values to the product and that can help in revenue
generation of the company. Marketers can provide advertisements after opening a page in the
Facebook. It is observed that, almost 1.47 billion people access Facebook every day (Lee,
Yen and Hsiao 2014). So it is evident that, for a marketer it is very easy to reach to its target
customers’ group through Facebook easily. In addition to this, due to its easiness, people of
different age group can use Facebook easily. Therefore it is reported that, almost 26% of
facebook users prefers to use facebook to search new products. In case of total buyers it is
observed that almost 75% of the customers use social media as a part of buying any product.

instead of the quantity of the page (Peters 2019).

In order to make more interaction with the customers regarding any products, the
company may launch mobile app in which all the customers can provide their feedback
regarding any product. In case of providing a good quality content, the company may
appoint a good web-content team as a part of their social media marketing and it help the
