1. Focus of your study
This research proposal is to understand the relation between the advantages of social
media with the business domain and the important techniques to be use to achieve these
benefits.
2. Rationale for the choice of focus
Social media has offered many new opportunities to promote business in the global
context and in the modern societies it is used to connect people throughout the globe with
the help of advance technology (Stelzner 2014). However, it should be noted that majority
of benefits are listed with the advent of social media that includes social media helps in
connecting with the audiences, social media marketing helps in increasing brand loyalty.
Social media is an emerging phenomenon in the business arena and thus it has resulted in
the rapid growth of business at the present time (Tsimonis and Dimitriadis 2014). To promote
business social media has offered many opportunities such as customer satisfaction,
brand loyalty, brand services and more. For instance, Zappos is one such organization
that uses the content strategies in order to target more customers. Thus, this research
proposal will try to evaluate the various advantages of utilising of social media sites in
marketing with respect to large and small business enterprises (Tsimonis and Dimitriadis
2014).
The objectives of the research includes
This will analyse the benefits of different social media business such as website,
online advertising, face book and more.
To observe factors of social media, that will be beneficial in the business context.

3. Research Questions
The research questions of this proposal are mentioned below:
1. What are the various advantages of social communication in marketing?
2. How social media is advantageous in uplifting business?
3. How business can target more consumers with the help of social media?
4. How large and small businesses can increase their brand loyalty through social media?
5. Methodology
The research methodology deals with different types of techniques that are useful in conducting the
research. It is a process that helps in conducting the research in more organized manner (Jussila,
Kärkkäinen and Aramo-Immonen 2014).
In this research proposal, primary data collection method will be conducted by means of online
questionnaire, whereby respondents will be given online link to the questionnaire. The respondents for
this proposal are the business owners of large and small business enterprises.
In case of data analysis method, the data for this research proposal will be collected through qualitative
data analysis; hence no further investigation will be required through statistical analysis. For this
research proposal, to understand how the benefits of social media in business is useful for business
owners, qualitative analysis shall be the appropriate data collection method, as it will help to get in
depth responses regarding the same.

Hence, it is applicable to take proper consent of the researchers before conducting any research. Apart
from this, participants should be provided safety measures during the research process and during the
time of research procedure, communication between the researcher and the respondents should be
complete with utmost honesty (Lewis 2015).
