operations. Social media marketing has enabled the brands to gain a proper placement for the

networking sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have found popularity in your NGO.
All these three apps have enhanced the awareness about the services provided.
The facebook page of the NGO informs the clients and the customers about the upcoming
events. Along with this, the page also allows access to the clients and the customers to make
comments for the posts and the newsfeed. Uploading the pictures of the events addresses the
queries of the customers regarding the nature of job, which the NGO performs. The options
for providing “likes and comments” is assistance in terms of gaining an insight into the
approaches of the customers towards the posted events (Oxfam.ca, 2018). Same is the case of
Instagram, where the events and services are posted. This is one of the means for providing
access to the customers regarding the services.
Twitter provides the customers with the access to the voice out their opinions about
the events and the activities. Blogs reflect the viewpoints of the personnel of Oxfam
regarding the steps adopted for providing quality services to the clients and the customers.
One of the key points in social media marketing of Oxfam is that it is used in conducting
offshore management. This utilization is beneficial in terms of expanding the scope and arena
of workplace. However, I feel that security policies are missing in the functions of the social

media. These policies are effective in terms of securing the personal belongings of the clients
and the customers (Oxfam.ca, 2018). Installing the security policies in the profile of the
customers would help you in averting the instances of leakages of the private and confidential
codes. For this, governmental assistance would be effective for collecting additional funds.
Market research in this direction would help in enhancing the awareness about the anti-
viruses, which would protect the personal data of the NGO. Using keyword search engine
optimization would take the personnel of Oxfam directly to the security software.
Taking into consideration, Data Protection Act (1998) would be effective in terms of
enhancing the security, privacy and safety of the clients and the customers. Indulging in
alliance with the statutory bodies of law would be beneficial for you in terms of executing the
activities in an efficient and effective manner. The act would also prove beneficial for Oxfam
in terms of enhancing the workplace ethics. I think this act is vital in case of enhancing the
living standards of women. I would suggest you to increase the frequency in organizing fairs
for the handicrafts prepared by the women of the self-help groups, which would act as their
empowerment.
