Introduction
This report will be discussed about the impact of social media in the relationships among the
public. This literature report will be used to define public relations by using social media. Social
media and relationships will be briefly described in this report. The social media increases the
development in the relationships and social media is greatly affect social relationships. All these
points will be covered in this review.

Social media and relationship development
According to the view of Orben, et. al. (2017), social media is a very important part in every
day’s life. It is continuously increasing in common people life. Social media is very much
useful in the process of interaction methods. Social media plays a vital role in maintaining
relations among members of society. The users of social media can read the posts of their
friends without any interaction. In this process, no face to face communication is needed. The
relationship development process becomes easy due to the social media process. The reading
process makes a relationship strong and affects the process of development. The development
has been increasing very fastly due to the relationship of the people becomes strong through
social media. This study shows that how the reading of online posts affects relationship
development. This research includes information regarding the relationships among society
related to social media. The effect of the posts valence and intimacy has been focused in this
report. Interpersonal interaction is very beneficial in the proper development of relations.
Offline communication also matters in the proper development of relations among society. In
the method of offline communication, the perception of self-disclosure and homophile also
affects the outcome of the relations among the society. Social media is greatly affecting the
relationship in society and make proper interaction among the people of society. The
relationship can be formed by the reading posts on social media and interaction in real life
process. This process suggests that passive consumption becomes a new method of relationship
development. This research gives the information that high intimacy posts have been decreasing
the social attractiveness of the people and self-disclose. The passive consumption is totally based
on communication through offline.
This report has been discussed about the relationship development through social media. The
report suggests that social media greatly affects the relationship in society.

As per the views of Matook, et. al., (2014), social media and relationships are greatly connected
with each other. As per the knowledge, social media is deeply embedded in day to day

relationships. Today’s world is full of technologies and applications that are used by people to
communicate with each other and exchange information with each other. The social media
relationships make the proper interactions among the various individuals. As per the scholars, it
has been described that social media makes the online relations by using three processes which
are traditional offline relationships, social media systems of offline relationships and social
media systems enable online relationships. There are many opportunities as linked with online
and offline relationships.
As per the Jurgens, (2013), social media and relationships play an important role in the process
of the development of society. The society is well-developed by the online relationships and the
relations of an individual's become strong by the interaction through social media. The social
media enabled online relationships related to offline relationships. The mediated communication
system plays an important role in the process of maintaining relationships among the people of
society.
This review describes the process of social media and relationships among individuals. The
opportunities via social media relationships have been discussed in this unit. The social media
enabled online and offline relationships.

Effects of social media on social relationships
According to the Jobilal, (2015), social media plays a vital role in social relationships. The
relationships among individuals become strong due to the use of social media. The whole of
society is greatly impacted by social media in various ways. By the use of social media, the
individuals get information from opinions and decide various judgments related to the several
issues. The young people of today’s generation being impacted by several new and powerful
resources. Social media offers a way to keep in touch with new and old friends. The mobile
phone has highly affected by the use of social media and maintains the relationships among
social media. The mobile phone increases the use of technology in the young generation and
makes their relationships strong. The mobile phone is increasing very fast in maintaining social
relationships because the people mainly used social media easily by mobile phones and this
maintains positive relationships.
As per the Valentini, (2015), public relationships become strong due to the use of social media.
Social media is very good to maintain public relations and better public relations give various
opportunities to the people. As per the knowledge, social media is very positive in public
relations and help organizations in the development of dialogues and relationships with the
public. The social media increases the engagement of the people with each other. The main
positive view of social media is maintained by the majority of public relations.
This unit describes the great effects of social media in maintaining social relationships. The
social media is very much useful in enabled the public relations and relationships among the
individuals.

This review has been described the different perspectives of relationships with the use of social
media. The first point has been described the development of relationship using social media.
The second and third point includes the effects of social media on social relationships. As social
media plays an important role in maintaining public relations.
