Can use all the latest software in
making designer cloth
Opportunities
started using the older software for the
traditional designing, which can be
helpful in future
current market and innovation is good
and can use the new technology to
develop skills.
New fashion shows can be helpful and
new opportunity in learning new trends
Threats
At work, the technology is not good
enough, which is preventing the team to
learn new trends and design
the competition is more and more
number of people are doing designing
course, which is threatening
Change in technology is destroying the
traditional fashion trend, which is very
disappointing.
Currently, I am working as a fashion designer, in a firm which is in the market from past 2 years.
Now I am looking forward to increase my knowledge and enhance my skills in designing. I am
having good knowledge about all the fashion brands and can design on any type of cloth and any
type of trend, which is in the market. I am having good knowledge of all the new software which
are used by the fashion industry in designing.
I am very good learner and have good communication skills. I was the team leader in my
college, and now the team leader in my company. To handle the pressure is very normal, because
the pressure on the leader is much more than other people. I have find out through different
social networking sites that, people are changing their dressing sense. Due to this fashion
designing is also changing, which is very challenging in the market. To make a new design is a
very difficult task, but my team and I are capable enough to handle the pressure. We can make a
design which will be the best in the market, just by looking at the new trends.
As we can see that from my SWOT analysis, I am very much comfortable in working
with both as an individual or in a team. I am very enthusiastic in working in a new environment
and working with a huge company like Biba la Famme, if given me opportunity.
PART 3: SOCIAL NETWORKING PROFILE
There are various social networking sites which are used by numerous number of people
so that they will remain connected to the world. The social networking site like Facebook,
Instagram, Linkdin, different blogs and Twitter are very famous in marketing any type of product
of a company or as an individual (Luo and Zhong, 2015). Any individual can post their

information, which can be either personal or professional. Other people can access or can see
their information. The two social media networking sites chosen are Facebook and Linkdin.
Facebook is chosen because a large part of social networking site user are on Facebook and they
are using this, in every minute. It is very helpful in advertising because it is very easy to access
by anyone.
Linkdin is chosen, because all the professional works can be put up there. It will be like a
complete port folio, which will be there (Helou and Rahim, 2014). There are many companies
which keeps on looking new talents in the market and this will help in getting the job. If any
employer is looking the profile on Linkdin, he will first see the cover page of candidate, where
all the information is given. From name to personal contact details, everything is given on the
cover page. Then they will go down, there will be some portions where the candidate can fill up
his skills. The filled up skills should be such that it will attract the employer instantly. All the
major skills and the experience should be put up on the front page, including the professional
photo, that will attract more number of employers. This is followed by the personal information
and academic qualification. Most of the companies who wants to look the professional
information can use Linkdin.
Facebook is the most used social networking sites. All the fashion designing firms like to
use Facebook for posting their new designs or new videos of different fashion shows. All the
firms are having their official page on Facebook (Kimmons, 2014). They also have a team who is
looking after the talent on social media. On Facebook, the profile is presented in a very attractive
way. First, there will be the profile photo of the candidate. It is not compulsory to put up the
professional photo. Any image which is showing the front part of the face will be sufficient. On
Facebook, the information will be given will be about both professional and personal. The
timeline of Facebook will show all the information about the candidate, so it will be very easy
for the employer to contact them. One thing that separate from Facebook to Linkdin is that, on
Facebook the candidate can not upload his portfolio, but on Linkdin, he can.
These social networking medium are very helpful in learning and gaining knowledge
from the fashion industry. People like to use these social networking medium, because from
there, they can get connected to the whole world. Various fashion designing companies having
their recruiting team looking for a candidate on these sites who can improve their organization.

To present the profile appropriately, the candidate must make sure that he/she provide all the
correct information, whether it is about their personal life or professional life. If they are putting
their work information and design, that should be original. Because fake images can be caught
quickly on internet. If they want to present themselves in the most appropriate way, then all the
information provided must be true.
PART 4: CONCLUSION
From this report, it has been concluded that marketing on social networking sites is very
useful because all the companies are looking the profile of the candidate. It is very important that
the presentation of the profile should be attractive and can easily make any employer fall for
your profile. Students can use SWOT analysis for their self assessment and then they can use
these social networking websites for marketing themselves.
