Communication is an essential element of organisation and effective communication is
highly important so that people in organisation can work in coordinated manner without
repeating of missing of the task. Social media like Facebook, Whatsaap, Zoom and Instagram
and several other sites has become popular for the purpose of communicating and socialising but
this can be used for communication in workplace as well. This report will discuss about Using
Social Media in the workplace to communicate. Jasmine restaurant will be contextualise in this
and people involved in communication involves employees in kitchen, administration, front
office and back office for the purpose of ordering, training, scheduling and passing messages to
each other.
